Hey folks,
Over the past couple of months, I've been developing a tool that reads your Elite Dangerous: Horizons journal files and updates Inara.cz with your current Materials, Data, and relevant Commodities inventories.
It's called Picard. You can download it from my website. Or you can check out the github and build it in VS2015.
Step One: Make sure your Inara.cz is updated with your current Materials, Data, and Commodities inventories from Elite Dangerous.
Step Two: Run Picard for the first time. It will need your Inara.cz username and password, and will save your current state and a timestamp.
Step Three and so forth: Play the game, gather awesome mats. Run Picard, and it will update Inara with your current inventory.
The actual names of materials in the journals is pretty well undocumented, my buddy CMDR Torsol has been helping me out by playing a ton and letting me know when a material is unknown. But I'm still calling it "Beta" because between us, we have not yet seen every possible material. I intend to get a complete list of what we *know* is correct.
However, the vast majority of materials are accounted for. So if you are tired of manually updating your Inara account, give Picard a try.
