New red-orange dot approaching the bubble at 0.8ly per minute-- Thargoid mothership?

I was afraid of that...

Just rejoined after server downtime and installing update.....the anomaly appears to have disappeared? In Oochorrs JE-C c15-0 and I can't see the anomaly. It was still there last I looked about half an hour before the servers went down.

have you tried to target HD 38291 and see if it's superimposed over it? (technically it should be closer to JEC c15-0 than to HD)

else, it's possible it glitched again

Oochorrs TZ-N d7-2
Oochorrs SZ-N d7-4
Oochorrs RE-O d7-2
Oochorrs HJ-C c15-0
Oochorrs NK-A c16-2
Oochorrs IC-U e3-1


However, it's not entirely impossible the flare they fixed was exactly the Anomaly 😂
as been suggested above and in the patch-notes

Just because you can't see something, it doesn't mean it's not there

If you check FSS from FY-D C14-0 you can hear it in JE-C system. You CANNOT hear it in HD system from this angle

Please verify my result if you like. FY-D C14-0 was the only system with a wide enough angle as the signal is blasting out.

you hear it in JE-C system

From HD you hear it in JE-C system
From JE-C you hear it in HD system

From FY-D C14-0 you hear it in JE-C system NOT hd system


This leads me to believe it is there JE-C C15-0

Yep....like everyone has said, it's supposed to be near JE-C but not visual.....maybe it was that lens flare update erased our ability to see it. We are looking with eyes, not lenses after all ;)

....unless, what if you used the scope on a rifle? That's definitely a lens. ;)

Approximate ETA in JE-C was 1500 UTC: perhaps it's supposed to be somewhat visible but not at quite such a great distance?

It was more than a cm across on my screen earlier today as seen from JE-C so theoretically, it should now be bigger...now....nothing, zero, zip, nada...but audible

If we can't see it, one assumes we MIGHT be able to hear it via the FSS still though. As the patch was for lens flare and not to stick plugs in our ears.
