New red-orange dot approaching the bubble at 0.8ly per minute-- Thargoid mothership?

This happened pretty close to its expected arrival time at the system - so has it now stopped moving, or did it just get behind you to head off somewhere else?
No, it hadn't passed. I'm a bit deaf and suffer with tinnitus so can make it out unfortunately. I'll never hear the coffee machine either. :coffee:😭

Ya'll be kind enough to remember i posted the music/sounds coming from the twirl in FSS when it turns out i was right, ty.

At the bottom of the post is a .png image and under it is a hex code. The code reads "63>6F>64>65>64. It spells out the word "coded"

If you download the image and open it in notepad, scroll down to the bottom, you will find a binary code. The image itself is named "transmission.png"

01001010 01110101 01110011 01110100 00100000 01100010 01100101 01100011 01100001 01110101 01110011 01100101 00100000 01111001 01101111 01110101 00100000 01100011 01100001 01101110 00100111 01110100 00100000 01110011 01100101 01100101 00100000 01110011 01101111 01101101 01100101 01110100 01101000 01101001 01101110 01100111 00100000 01100100 01101111 01100101 01110011 01101110 00100111 01110100 00100000 01101101 01100101 01100001 01101110 00100000 01101001 01110100 00100000 01101001 01110011 00100000 01101110 01101111 01110100 00100000 01110010 01100101 01100001 01101100

If you run this binary code through a "to text" decoder you get...... "Just because you can't see something doesn't mean it is not real"

To add to this, in the latest Frame Shift Live stream from a hour or so ago, they were very insistent above getting out there and "listening" to more things, hinting using the FSS or getting very close to objects was the way to go. ""

I...told..you...soooooo

I can hear the anamoly from the Bubble, by pointing the FSS scaner to Orion. Not as load as from the OOCHORRS region, but still quite noticeable.

Even with several planets around you, in a binary system in the bubble (LHS 142) you can still hear it.

I think it’s more like a depicted scripted shark attack…. You see the fin sliding through the water towards you but then it disappears………

I suspect the visual disappearance is a bug, if it coincides with a new update. Wouldn't be the first time a fix has broken something else.

And with Horizons 4.0 arriving soon, we could be in a situation where what is now Odyssey-only content becomes Horizons-only content for awhile!

With the line in the patch notes about visibility from the correct distance, seems more likely it's the fixing of a bug. Hopefully there are some intrepid Commanders out there now trying to get within the correct distance of where we think it is, before it changes course again.

If this thing really found its way prematurely into the live game there would have been better ways for FD to deal with it...
Considering that the visual phenomena has been mentioned by Galnet, it seems to be cannon now even if it wasn't supposed to be like that originally. Better than pretending it never happened at least.

It was really cool to watch UIA and search for its course (even for me which did exploration only rarely), could be bug or not, it really was fun and something very unexpected to happen in this game where galaxy was static on large scale. If it’s gone now from visual then for me it’s a disappointment. I just state my personal view, it’s not meant as criticism.
