New ship: Gutamaya Corsair

The definition of pretty or ugly is highly subjective. The cockpit near the rear reminds me of certain classic cars of a bygone era that also had impossibly long snouts with the cabin almost at the very rear end.
That rendering did put me in mind of the 70's 'vette Stingray.

It's what it does that is important, of course. There are other ugly ships in the game that I love to fly.

Cockpit forward or aft both look cool to me. Forward probably has better visibility for the pilot. I wanted to chime in because I'm getting excited for it's debut. Very curious about its module lay out and stats for a medium multi-role.

I wish we could read into the fact that it seems designed for air resistance and lift and has scoops and vents. First private atmo-capable aerospace craft? Earth-likes becoming landable in Q4? They could paint it like a toucan and I'd still fly it if they pulled a treat like that out of the hat. (I would probably fly it with toucan paint anyway. With Fruit Loops zeroes on the wings).

The cockpit is too far back, but there's really no working around the fact that they decided to reuse the courier cockpit for a medium ship. That canopy is going to be unsightly on this ship anywhere they put it. The design needs its own cockpit, but FDEV has made it obvious that they are unwilling or unable to create new interior spaces at this point.

This would improve the view a lot.

I like it but the design is too busy. The corsair looks fine except the beak imo.

You know how an angel gets its wings everytime something happens? The Panther Clipper has a similar mechanic. Do a forum search for "Panther Clipper" and count the occurences of the name. Multiply that number by six months - that's how long it will take until it is released at the bare minimum ;).
Every time somebody mentions it, God kills a kitten.
