Let's develop a fungal weapon to use against the Thargoids
Nothing could possibly go wrong

Frustrating ones I imagine. What kind of HGE does blight bring?
It looks like the state is currently bugged. The effects you'll expect to see on food supply aren't visible in affected agricultural systems. Perhaps this state was released early? You'd think it would be connected to the current Interstellar Initiative/CGs but at present, that doesn't appear to be the case.
Blight seems to be a global state, so, what triggers it? Is there any way to prevent a system from being Blighted? Is it just a temporary state, to be removed after the Interstellar Initiative? Or is it here to stay? (Please say yes, FD). And where does Famine state fit into all this?
If this development does lead to where we think its going (Thargoids), then well done FD, it would be by far the most interesting thing to happen to the Thargoid narrative for years.
Two systems blighted in Colonia too. Perhaps they'll start selling KFC here also, like in Harma.Has anyone thought that it might be spread by trading? What if produce is shipped from a blighted station?![]()

Significant effects on food demand in non-agriculturals, though - basic foods up, luxury foods down. At least a few other changes in demand as well.It looks like the state is currently bugged. It's not that different from what we did to them. They might have remained almost entirely hidden, like ghosts, if we didn't begin exploiting their resources. That's what made them act like bees without a purpose. But as it has been since "the watchmen" of "the seeds of their return" turned their coats and became corrupted, they didn't plan this, we were corrupted by our own greed.poisoning the the bubble to starve us
You'd be surprised what goes on in those Kumo worlds. It's quite different from Utopia systems, where agricultural workcentres at least provide basic level of nutrition as part of indoctrination programmes.Kentucky Fried Thargoid?
