Horizons New update?

I see servers are going down for another update.

I hope this will be a fix for those of us with AMD graphic cards since at present it is almost unplayable.

Pleased that the 64 bit Dangerous has been rolled out though. I can at least still progress in that while I wait for the Horizon fix.

AMD problems are driver base. Frontier is helping AMD to fix them and the next update should contain those fixes.

Yep, the issue is on AMD's side, not Frontiers. Frontier is working together with AMD to resolve the issues. Elite: Dangerous worked perfectly with some older drivers, tho the ones for the 3xx Series all have issues with ED.
Actually, FDev already implemented quite a few AMD exclusive fixes and optimizations. I hope AMD is willing to help resolve those issues soon. I don't have an AMD card myself, but friends have, and they have quite a few issues themselves which makes playing together quite difficult.

David recently said that there is a fix in the next AMD driver but couldn't give an eta on it. Really sorry - trying to find the link to where he said this but failing...

EDIT - Was on Reddit here

Yes, we know this is a frustrating problem for many people with Win 10 and AMD, which affects all recent driver versions (though it is possible to downgrade to 15.6 I think). We understand there is a fix coming in driver version 15.301.

We are trying to get a date from AMD when this fix will go live.

The 15.301 driver was released 4 days ago, and as far as the release notes go, its still not fixed.

So unless that's an oversight on the release notes, its not going to be fixed before the beginning of 2016. Will test and see if they are any better.

That's the WHQL version of the 15.11.1 beta driver; the display driver version is the same (15.30.1025.1001).

I'm hoping they mean the 15.12.x beta will contain a fix, but I'm not currently holding my breath.
