General Night Vision

Any chance of a type of dimmer for ship night vision?

not actual brightness but number of points used for ex..
for approaching a planet for example, I really don't need that kind of detail on ANYTHING, it is waaay to many lines, points or whatever you are using to create outlines.
I often end up looking at some of the rocks to see why they light up like a ship or a commando...just tooo much detail on NV.

I think 5 steps for a dimmer aka fewer points would be good.10%, 25%, 50%, 75%, 100%
anything you could do would be nice.

I used to always use it for ship combat, now I can but would rather not because it looks awful. and approaching stations it seriously slows stuff down. why do I need lines on every window every light
its the only way I can use the srv, mostly because the srv lights are no longer normal....way to bright on low, and the part where turning them off usually makes a planet bright enough for a picnic makes headlights useless.
but still way too much detail.

btw, why are internal parts being lit up? my dash bobbles are glowing with the NV outlines, very distracting and irritating. it doesn't seem to be affecting all dash toys.

While we're on it ... "basic suit" and any other suits have different shaders for NW. For example, "other suit" may show all cockpit info if cockpit is broken + you turn on NW.
...so maybe you could try just change a suit and see what shader fits you better.
