No Path to Destination

Yei! Some progress!

I´m a bit confused though, since there are no quarantine neither animals in that file.

Nevermind ... could it be possible that your facilities were not powered? Have you tried that? You can either put a generator close to the quarantine (and other facilities), or if you play in Sandbox, go to Settings, then "Game" --> scroll down "Economy Settings", scroll down until you get to "Power Everything". Tick it and all your facilities should have power (I´ve attached a screenshot).

Yes my facility has power I just don’t understand, if you can put in the quarantine and everything and watch what happens and you’ll see I can’t put anything into quarantine I have power flowing to the quarantine I just don’t understand

Did you upload the right file? Tobs said there were no animals no quarantine in the file. It really has to be the zoo you have the bug in, so that he / we can help you. So you have to upload exactly the zoo where you got animals in, that you currently can not put into quarantine.

Yes I did, do I need to do it again?

I’ll upload it again with a quarantine and see if that helps

Hi @Brandon Gill

Not @Tobs but I've been vaguely following this thread just in case I could help. I thought whilst you were waiting for Tobs to give it a go I could try downloading your park and seeing if it worked on my computer.

So I've had a look at it game and it looks like it must be something about your machine's game files not the save itself because I was able to put the lion in quarantine and then send it through to the habitat without any problems. I think this is important because even if you manage to send the park save to Frontier they may not see the issue on their machines. Plus it shows there is nothing wrong with the way you have the zoo set up or your pathing etc.

This suggests there may not be an easy fix because it is hard to work out why it is happening on your machine but at least we can rule a few things out. I've attached a couple of screenshots so you can check this is your park and that I haven't downloaded a different one accidently.

P.S. Looks like you have the start of an interesting layout!

And this is the exact same zoo you were playing? You said, and I quote you here: "Mine is a work in progress too but I don’t have enough barriers I want a wooden fence for things like camels, llamas, Dall Sheep and Zebras and my zoo would be finished but I’ve been having this problem for so long"

The zoo you uploaded has absolutely no animals and habitats besides that pride rock square and two lions. I doubt you call this zoo close to finish.

Again, we need EXACTLY the file where you have the bug. Do you have the bug with the file you uploaded on stream? Do you REALLY have it with that file you uploaded? Because then it's not save game related, as it works perfectly fine.

Please double check if this is indeed the zoo you are working on and where you got that bug. If you had to put in a quarantine later, after I prompted you, it probably isn't.
Do you need assistance finding the right save file? No matter if players or Frontier, we can't help with the file the bug is occuring in.

Ok I’ll try to delete my saved games because I’ve had it for such a long time, I wanted to build the ultimate zoo with pride rock in the center of the zoo to make it seem like the Lions are king and queen of the zoo but I don’t have the barriers I wanted for me to build the ultimate zoo, I wanted a wooden fence for animals like camels, llamas, Dall Sheep, and Zebras but I guess we’ll never get any barriers

Don’t worry I think I figured it out Cocolori reached out to me and I think I need to delete that zoo because I’ve had for so long I think that could be the problem

Thanks.

Do you know how to upload that Sandbox Zoo file to the workshop?

If yes, please do so and share the link - and let's see whether I can replicate your issue on my side.

If you do not know how to upload a zoofile to the workshop, please follow these steps outlined in this video from minute 1:36 (it's a very quick process).
Source: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pHUdwtYdcnE&t=104s

Once you upload it to the workshop, please please share your file.
I'm going to uninstall the game and see if that helps but if it doesn't work I'm uninstalling it forever and since it's not happening on your end its either my computer or something like that, I didn't have this problem until I downloaded the Southeast Asia Pack so it's either my computer or its that pack but I'm just ready to give up

I’m having this issue too, but only since the last update. It’s anytime I built a path to a habitat gate, keeper hut or other staff building. Even if I delete the path and build a new one, “no path to destination”. I can’t figure out any pattern to why it’s happening.

Well send it to Jens Erik see if they can figure it out

To be honest I think it’s the Southeast Asia Pack because as soon as I downloaded that pack it started happening I just don’t understand

Right, you cannot say now "don't worry" after all this drama. I'm sorry. That's not how you deal with the community.

Furthermore, at this moment, please keep all information and process public so everyone that has similar issues, or wants to be updated on the matter, knows how to potentially fix it.

I've opened your latest zoo file - and like @Cocolori I had no issues moving the lions to the quarantine building or the habitat.

Now, let's try this. I saved the same file with the lions in the habitat, and I've uploaded it to the workshop. Here's the link, https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2508684221, it's called "Pride Rock Zoo Tobs". Could you please confirm whether you can open the file, and move the lions from their habitat to the quarantine building and or trade center?

We need to rule out whether it's something that your personal zoo file has or whether it's something intrinsic to your game.

But again, please keep all information public, so everyone can follow the story.

Hi! I'm happy to help. If you have been following the story, would you mind uploading your problematic zoo file to the workshop so other members of the community can check whether they are experiencing the same issue with your particular zoo file?

Ok I’ll try that, thanks

Cocolori did not say the problem was the save file - quite the opposite, since they can run it ok.. deleting the save probably won’t fix the issue and it may well continue in new zoos.

So I've had a look at it game and it looks like it must be something about your machine's game files not the save itself
Are we certain that a save file is exactly the same as a workshop blueprint of a zoo?
Ofc, not disagreeing with testing this :D

Would be strange if 1 sandbox savegame would also influence a new sandbox zoo, franchise zoo and scenario.
But ok, if deleting could fix it for this time, that's a "solution". But not knowing the source of the problem (or a Frontier fix) - you risk having this problem in the future again.

I deleted it and it didn’t work, to be honest I think it’s the Southeast Asia Pack because this problem didn’t occur until I downloaded that pack and I downloaded it the day it came out
