No Path to Destination

It would help if you answered the questions people are asking - specifically:

Is the file you shared the one where you’re experiencing the problem?

Does the problem happen in new zoos?

….

how is the problem still there if you deleted the zoo? Are you testing with a new zoo? What exactly are you doing?

Without answers to these questions it will not be possible for people to help.

I deleted it and it didn’t work, to be honest I think it’s the Southeast Asia Pack because this problem didn’t occur until I downloaded that pack and I downloaded it the day it came out

No, it's not the South East Asia pack. Please stop spreading false information. If it was the South East Asia pack, EVERY player with the pack would have it.

This bug is specific to SOME users, which is why the Devs need the effected save file. And ths is why we asked you for the specific save file, that you did not provide, yet complained no one helps you and you feel ignored by Frontier.

I hope @Moonfox can bring some light into the issue now and we or the Devs can help.
Moonfox, do you currently have a save file that is effected? I don't know if it's a general solution, but when I had this once, I deleted the effected building and replaced it. Did the trick for me and it only happened once, so I'm not completly sure if it is a bug or if I did something different that one time.

Well I’m sorry I thought it was that, I’m sorry I’m not trying to spread false information I’m just trying to explain when it happened

I think it's best we get a scope of that problem. The basics: Does it happen in all zoos/modes etc., what notification did Steam show when you finished validating your files?
I know, has been repeated over and over but i've seen it fixing the weirdest bugs/crashes. If it fixes a few files everytime, there's more going on.

I've seen some people with OP's problem but those were incorrect pathing, or fixed by letting the game run for 10-15 minutes -> quit the zoo and start it again or just replacing a habitat/building fixed it (a somewhat "reset").
Those options clearly won't work with OP.

It would help if you answered the questions people are asking - specifically:
At this point I would recommend to summarize the situation and what attempts were made, when this attempt was made and what the result (notification) was.
At this rate I could take another 5, 10 or 20 pages.
For some unexplained reason e-mailing the save file doesn't work but filesharing/uploading that file is another option (I mentioned WeTransfer but other options would work as well)
There are other files you can send to Frontier along with your save file, like a DXDIAG file.

I forgot to add this yesterday, but Brandon was able to move around animals on the test zoo file I send earlier on this thread.

So I've had a look at it game and it looks like it must be something about your machine's game files not the save itself because I was able to put the lion in quarantine and then send it through to the habitat without any problems. I think this is important because even if you manage to send the park save to Frontier they may not see the issue on their machines. Plus it shows there is nothing wrong with the way you have the zoo set up or your pathing etc.

I’m just going to quote myself:

Please answer these questions.

The Good news is I finally got Planet Zoo reinstalled, the bad news is I still can’t put my animals into quarantine.

Has anybody made any progress in solving my problem with not being able to put my animals into quarantine, because I want to play Planet Zoo again soon

Yes and it didn’t work

But you also commented; "I was able to put my animals in quarantine with your zoo and able to move the tapirs into the habitat no problem I just don’t understand why it does it in my zoo"
So, at some point you were able to use it, right? Did Tobs' blue print zoo stopped working?
(or did Tobs send other files not mentioned in this thread?)

Try to figure out how to get save/game files to Frontier or why it wasn't possible in earlier attempts.
  • E-mail
  • Cloud storage (& ofc. sharing)
  • Other file sharing services

That has been your best option from the start.

I know maybe it just happens on my end

@Brandon Gill is the zoo you uploaded the only zoo you play? Seems odd as it's extremly barebones and as others have pointed out, it doesn't even contain any animals or quarantines, exept for a coupple of lions.
You claim that you only started to experience this problem after the SEA pack. Do you have any zoo's from before this DLC? Do they work? Can you upload any of them?

And one simple question that no one seems to have asked, but is vital to this problem; Do you have any Veterinarians in your zoo?
This is important, because the only thing the SEA pack changed is that you now have to have a veterinarian hired for you to be able to move an animal to/from a quarantine, a caretaker is not enough.
I know this, because I frequently use so called "quarantine zoo's" in franchise (don't like them, but are forced to since the changes to the trade centre capacity after the aquatic pack). Before the SEA pack I only had quarantines and caretakers in the zoo and I could move the animals from the tradecentre to the quarantine without any problems, but after the pack, I got the "No Path to Destination" alert. I hired a veterinarian and it went away and I could now move the animals without any problems.

I have gotten this alert in every quarantine zoo I've made (I have made LOADS of them, basicly one for every species) and the solution is always the same; just hire a veterinarian.

Just a quick edit to clarify (even if it's obvious). After you have hired the Veterinarian, you have to unpause the game for a few seconds to let the vet "land" on the path, before the alert goes away.

I told Jens Erik about the other two players that are having the same problem as me and hopefully they can send their saved games to Jens Erik

I have read the entire thread now and I must say, it does seem like the OP is just trolling everyone (my appologies if that is not the case). So many people have given alot of very good advise and he has given almost no information at all, and just seem to repeat himself.

No I don’t have any zoo before that, and I always have a veterinarian and it still says No Path To Destination, I just don’t understand why its happening to me and I don’t know how to fix it.
