No Path to Destination

No I don’t have any zoo before that, and I always have a veterinarian and it still says No Path To Destination, I just don’t understand why its happening to me and I don’t know how to fix it.
Then unfortunetly I can't help you, as the veterinarians have always fixed it for me. Hope you find a solution

Hi Brandon,

Sorry this is all so frustrating for you.... Fixing these things is not always simple, so it's important that you do your best to answer people's questions as clearly as possible and follow instructions as closely as possible, so that they can try to pin down the issue.

On that basis, this is my understanding of the issue and the steps you have tried so far:

You can not move animals to quarantine in any zoos you open, either older zoos or new ones.
You get the warning message "no path to destination"
You have reinstalled and have verified the game files (Important).
You have tried deleting and rebuilding both paths and the quarantine building.
The issue is also present in zoos downloaded from the workshop.

If the above is correct, then the issue is NOT with your save files, it is with the game on your system which, unfortunately makes things more difficult to fix. I do, however have some additional questions, and some suggestions:

1: Do you experience the issue in all game modes (sandbox, challenge, franchise and scenario?)
2: Is it just quarantine buildings you have the issue with, or are other facilities also affected?
3: Do you have any mods installed? If yes, remove them.

______

Suggestions:

If you can't send your save file to Frontier ( community@frontier.co.uk) with a description of your issue.. (The files are here: C:\Users\YourUserName\SavedGames\Frontier Developments\Planet Zoo ) then email them with a link to the file you uploaded to the workshop (Make sure you provided a description of your issue in the email)

In the meantime, as @Jens Erik suggested, turn off animal sickness in the game options (so that quarantine is not needed) until a fix is found (it may take a long time - i.e., several months, if it's a rare issue, as it seems to be.)

Ok I will, do you have a solution it’s called Pride Rock Zoo
Brandon.. the file you uploaded is from June 5 th. I asked you to upload the file you are expieriencing it yesterday, when you were expieriencing it again.
I want you to do the following things now. Step by step. Exactly as I say.

  1. Open your zoo
  2. Test if you can move two animals (any animals) from trade center to quarantine
  3. If you can't: Save the game
  4. Exit the game
  5. Upload the zoo you were JUST playing with to the Steam workshop. Important: Name it: "Path Problem Zoo". No Pride Rock. "Path Problem Zoo".
  6. Tell us when you are done. Thank you

Ok, it’s in the Steam Workshop it’s called Path Problem Zoo with no quotation marks

As I also said via PM: You have to set the file on public. People, oncluding me, can not find them otherwise.
Ok I fix the problem it’s called Path Problem Zoo with no quotation marks and I made sure it was public, you might be able to put the Nile Monitor into quarantine on your end but I can’t on mine

Awesome, well done, it worked. So, when you play this zoo and try to move animals from the trading centre to the quarantine it says "no path to destination"? or does it say "invalid destination"?
It says No Path to Destination, but it happens with every single sandbox zoo I use, I just don’t understand why?

Me neither, but lets try something different. Move an animal to a habitat without putting it into quarantine. Now open the animal tab and "request quarantine". Look at what your vet does and tell us, please

Nothing happened it still said No Path To Destination, I really hope that they can fix this bug

Where did it say it? Now I'm baffled. It usually says that at the quarantine building.

Could you move the animal directly from trade center into the habitat?
Yes I could move the animal into the habitat but not the quarantine it still said No Path To Destination, I appreciate you trying to help but I think it’s about time the professionals take charge Jens Erik is probably investigating the problem with the other players who are having the same problem as me.

I asked you to request a vet via the animal menue and tell us what the vet does, not trying to move it yourself again....

Honestly, if you answer the question people ask you the same way to "the professionals" as you answer them to players that try to be helpful, there is no way they can investigate the problem any further, as everyone else that is expieriencing the bug seemed to find a solution one way or another. So yours is either completly different, or you are not following the steps Jens, Tobs, me or a bunch of other players requested.

Anyway, I'm muting the thread now and won't waste my time any longer.

I did request a vet it didn’t work I should have mentioned that I forgot

Has anybody made any progress in solving my problem with not being able to put my animals into quarantine because I still can’t put them into quarantine

Hi Brandon,

can you confirm the information and answer the questions I posted above:
