No ships spawning in Conflict zones after waiting a while.

Been to 4 different conflict zones and only 1 spawned a group of spec ops which I defeated after a couple of minutes. Once that was done nothing else spawned. Is it just me or is this happening to others. I’m on Xbox if that helps. I’ll put in a bug report aswell.

Have you checked the status of the war? Has either side gained a decisive victory or anything?

Yes, but not as often after update 3.3.01. First time I jumped into a CZ after last night's update, there wasn't any ship after selecting to fight for a faction. Then a min or so later, a wing of 4 spec ops ships jumped in and attacked me immediately.

After a short battle, I went to nearest outpost (owned by opposing faction) to repair my ship and now you get warning when near a CZ. The faction's outpost happened to be near a CZ and I was still allowed to choose a faction after landing. Lo and behold, station started to attack me as soon as I chose the opposing faction.

Funny thing was when I logged back in, my ship was repaired free of charge.

Maybe the Universe being shared across multiple platforms and multiple instances has resulted in a situation where players are winning battles, creating the short breaks in fighting, thus other players drop in and it's entirely thrown out of whack?

Yeah, can happen.
Log-Of, Log-On, Try again. Mostly solves the problem.
Maybe try a differend CZ, some of them are broken. If the CZ is moving it won't work.

I've had the same thing as the OP.
Sometimes the CZ spawns, sometimes it doesn't.

Change to a different CZ or re-log the game, sometimes that works.

I tried a few times as well... no ships spawn but some disembodied voice thanks me for showing up... creepy...

FYI, it's not "Close to Victory", it's "Close Victory".

"Close to Victory" = You've almost won the battle
"Close Victory" = You're very slightly ahead

Note the three options are Close Victory/Victory/Total Victory (and the same for the losing side with Defeat) . It changes each day depending on who dominates each day.
