Newcomer / Intro noob question... if i hand myself in.

Hi

seems i tagged a ship which then got killed by a thargoid. i now have 5k bounty and notioriey.

if i hand myself in will i keep my combat bonds and mission progress? if not i will have to wait to cool off and then go to IF.

bonus point.........

if i hand myself in is my ship as well as my character cleared?

Yes, but depends on mission criteria - some say "don't lose your ship" or may have other criterias. Technically you don't lose your ship, but you never know with live-software.
As for the bonus, Yes.

Personally I use both IF and handing myself in depending on where I want to end up.

thanks.... it's just kill X number of thargoids and 60 mil in combat bounds so I guess they will be ok then. cheers

Thargoids bounties are kept yes. Been there, done that.
Notice the transactions that seems 'safe' from death, now has a bit more Yellow color, while the surrounding interface is more Orange.
