Not enough RAM

I went ahead and pre-ordered the deluxe edition (yay!), and hopefully this weekend I can talk to my uncle and he can help me figure all this out. He's good with computers and is knowledgeable about PC gaming, so I think he could help me install the memory and help me figure out exactly what to get. Thank you to all who have helped me, I really appreciate it!

Hey. Good luck. :)

My question is I have a Gt 730 graphics which is higher then minimum but will I be able to play on my 46in 1080 tv with good graphics without lag or do I need a better card or better to play on the Xboxone all together?

I think nobody can say, right now. We know the game looks gorgeous on max details, but we have no idea which graphical elements will be affected the most by lowering the settings and at which point the game will stop "looking good".
Guess you will have to wait until somebody tries it after release and then decide.

Yeah I kind of figured that. Might get xbox version to be safe then if its ok might buy the pc one. Not sure which version I want but my main thing is I want the graphics to look decent without setting settings real low or having some lag after a big park is built. I heard that was an issue with planet coaster. Same company but there's probably more motion and things going on to tax a system with that game.

Thank you. I'm going to ask my uncle this weekend, he knows a lot about PC gaming and I think he could help me with this [up]

crucial.com sells memory, and has an advisor tool which will tell you what you need as well. As far as I know Micron memory (the brand Crucial sells) is pretty robust.

If you own a 32 bit PC then 4GB RAM is the maximum you can fit. Best check first before wasting a trip.

This is a good point - can you do start, then the cog, then system then about. There it will tell you if you're running 32 or 64 bit windows

Dinosaur (lol) where do you live?

Here in the UK, you can pickup a single stick of 8Gb RAM, used, for almost nothing.

In my local CEX store (it buys and sells used goods) there's a single stick of ddr3 for £28, with a 2 year warranty*.

I need to upgrade from 8gb to 16 soon, so I'm looking at cheap ways to do so. :)

You don't seem knowledgeable in computer stuff so it's probably best you see out help, yes talk to your uncle. I suck at explaining things and it would just be easier if I did it for you but I can't.

Good luck though and start saving up for a good gaming rig.

Well, I talked to my uncle and he was VERY helpful. He was telling me all about what can affect the game's performance, and what would be helpful to upgrade. He said he might even pull apart his gaming computer he doesn't use anymore and see if the RAM in his PC is compatible with my PC. He said he can come help me install the RAM when I get it and show me how to do it myself in the future. So I'm happy!

I live in the United States. I currently have $50 saved up, but haven't been able to find anything under $90.

Have you made sure that your video card and other aspects of your computer run the game. Having ram is Good, but unless if you dont have a good cpu.
