Not to have to stare into the dark might be a reason for space legs

Now that it is summer I find myself very often to not play ED because... it is so dark. Really! Though I find ED still an applealing thing to spend my time on I very often don't play because (amongst other reasons) when I imagine the darkness, the desire to play the game vanishes. Sometimes I compensate this with driving around with the SRV (planet suface is brighter) but that doesn't make for too much gaming. At least its a sort of psychological thing I suppose. So when I imagine to have more opportunities to not to stare into the dark this might improve my game exerience. OK just walking around only to walk around would not be such a great thing. It would be good to also have more reasons to have space lengs.

We all want space legs. We just want it done right. I watch a video from Star Citizen. If your system doesn't have an SSD drive and 32 gig Ram. The game unplayable. Because it always fetching info.

Atmospheric gameplay would go a long way to fix the darkness. Gas Giant Res sites could be pretty bright on the surface and only dark the deeper you go.
