Nothosaurus 2022 by design?

i noticed that the Nothosaurus CC skin was reported as a bug as it was labled as Nothosaurus 2022 instead of Nothosaurus 2016 (or is it 15?) every other CC skin list the in universe year except Nothosaurus which was shrugged off as by design so what gives?

It’s 2016 basically for all camp Cretaceous variants for some at least

The "2022" label is presumed because of the year the season it first appeared in was released, which is odd because all another year labels are when they mainly appeared chronologically in the Jurassic universe, most of them around the same time as their respective shows' releases.

All main events of Camp Cretaceous technically take place in 2015. If so in 2016 for at least Season Five, then the extent is not clear, but not as much as the six long months as in the first three seasons.

When I viewed the dates for skins, I always assumed it was the release year of the source material, not the in-universe year. I'm fairly certain Frontier correctly labeled them all following this pattern.

It's both, actually. Whatever year a film releases is also what year the events are happening chronologically. Jurassic World Camp Cretaceous is different from the movies however, because despite releasing from the years 2020 and 2022, its main events still happen in 2015.

And that's what they went for the variants and skins in the Camp Cretaceous Dinosaur Pack: Ouranosaurus 2015 and Kentrosaurus 2015 for the variants. Scorpios rex 2015 A, Scorpios rex 2015 B, and Monolophosaurus 2015 for the skins.

yeah thats why it doesn't make any sense and why is it being excluded and shrugged off by the devs as "by design" when none of the other CC related dinos and skins do this.
