Now that JWE-2 was announced, is it safe to assume JWE won't get updates or DLCs anymore?

Some time ago I made a post in Reddit saying how I saw the game being abandoned by the devs and the community.

To be fair, I was wrong about the community, mods are awesome.

But from the devs...that's it, they moved on, right?

For sure content creation was done a long time ago. It would be nice to get a warning but PC got the same thing. Updates as far as fixes and optimization could happen from time to time.

Our excellent support team will be able to help out with any technical issues, but our dev team is now fully focused on Jurassic World Evolution 2 and are working hard to make it the best game it can be.

Yeah, you want new game content you gotta move on to JWE2 or keep playing JWE and be happy with what you have.

Games usually don't get non stop support after release. The only game I know that does that is ARMA 3 and some multiplayer games like Red Dead Online, Fortnite and so on. With ARMA 3 most of the new content comes from other developers.
