NPC's using Hatch-Breakers, but I have no cargo

Hey all,

As per title really. I'm playing around in a HazRes, shooting wanted ships. One group however, start using Hatch-Breaker Limpets on me, however, I have no cargo, never had any cargo and don't plan to pick up any cargo. I do have a few Limpets in my hold but they've not started Pirating those now have they?

You know, I noticed a pirate doing the normal "Glad I found you first" thing when all I had on board was limpet the other day...

Could be another of FD's famous regression bugs (as pirates used to think any cargo including limpets was a valid target)

It does sound like a bit of a regression, doesn't it? However, when limpets were "tasty cargo" once before, EVERY pirate that scanned you considered them cargo. This evening, most Pirates scanned me, saw I had nothing and moved on as you'd expect. So, it's not quite like it was before, thankfully, but still annoying.

I was on my Main account this eve, so a Wing of three Pirates attacking me was just free money. If I'd been on my Alt though (basic Crusader, no Engineering) I'd perhaps have gotten more game content than I bargained for lol.

Just a AI thing, have them launch hatch-breakers when my Chieftain doesn't even have a single cargo rack installed happen many times.:rolleyes:
