Nvidia 3D Vision

Hi all,
I saw most of subjects, but no real answers.
I play with a 3D VP at 1080p24 and there is a convergence problem with 3DVISION (NVIDIA) , the left image and the right image have a parralaxe but it is the same whatever the depth ..... I see 3D but no depth ....
If I force with Ctrl+Alt+F11 several objects (eg planets) are cut into 2 and it's impossible to play in these conditions.
I tested the SBS options without NVIDIA and all is OKKKKK but with a resolution divided by 2 :-((((

I think it is just a code problem for the angle of the second view (because the SBS mode works )....
Would it be fixed for 3DVision ???

because I currently testing with the account of a friend, but I will not buy it if the problem remains.

whilst NVidia claim the game to be excellent in 3D compatabilty mode this at the moment is sadly not the case
true the cockpit looks amazing but there is virtualy no depth even at max depth setting
FD have not stated weather NVidia 3d vision will be fully supported as they are concentrating there efforts to the rift at the moment
and its sad as I have stated they may loose potential customers because nvidia 3D vision is well established
it is a great game but if you insist on 3d vision maybe now is not the time to buy.....................:(
F.D. you listening?

Thanks for your answer.
I made a DOF simulator and starts building ED tracker... I play on a 3D projector and I would really like 3D works on this game for immersion .... I would also like a response from the F.D. support .....

Please Full Nvidia 3D VISION support !! not the crappy Compatibility mode !!

hello !!
i have nothing more to say , keep going !! i just can't wait to play with 3D vision, it's soooooo wonderful in a game like elite dangerous ! (too much shadow problems atm)

No reply ???
My question seem trivial to you?

I'd love to see the 3D vision working better ; I'm sure Rift is magnificent, but I'm not getting one until CV1 at the very least, and even then, I can imagine it being uncomfortable to play with for long periods.

I've played a little with my nvidia 3D vision specs. The main problems I saw were

* The galactic background is in front of the local starfield. This is a real immersion breaker.
* The shadows aren't right - each eye is wildly different. This makes objects outside the cockpit unreal
* Textures on planetary bodies are rendered differently (or not at all) for either eye
* Glows are not rendered with separation, which breaks the depth effect of what they are attached to

The instrument panel is gorgeous. Navigation in supercruise is much more awe-inspiring, orbit lines have depth, etc.

You'd think that if the game can do side-by-side rendering, that there would be an nvidia driver that took side-by-side, stretched the fields, and showed them alternately for active shutter 3D glasses.

Of course, if the 3D is correct with side-by-side, they can do easily the same thing for shutter 3D glasses (the two point of view are correctly created)

that's so frustrating to have so much shadow problems in this game. It's nice to listen Occulus rift users but i hope 3D Vision full support will be released because the community is bigger.

Brett did you mean to post that here as it doesnt seem very relevant to the thread ?

So, yeah, I'd like to add my name to the 3D Vision request.

I mean, NVidia is obviously putting it in the 'excellent' column for Compatibility Mode...

FD Might as well try to look into making a push if NVidia is forcing a sub par 3D Compatibility Mode on their game.

I have ASUS VG278HE 144hz monitor upgrading card to GTX 970/ (in Australia GTX 980 is a trip OS) ED devs not supporting NVidia 3D Vision support, is like watching B/W TV when colour is around, just don't understand why its not apart of the game, must be really difficult to implement, like proximity chat , or a key bind for KWS

So I guess I won't be buying 3d glasses for my new Benq display.

I'll be patiently waiting for Oculus rift consumer kit.

It still was a nice update to go from 19" 1400x900 60Hz to 24" 1920x1080 120Hz.

I'm rocking the NV 3D Surround system. I love it for gaming. It really takes flight-sim games to the next level. I was hoping that ED would have it seeing as they already are doing the Oculus stuff.

Also, seeing as how NVidia are doing the Compatibility Mode thing I had hoped that FD would jump into it.

I would really like better Nvidia 3D vision support too. The game looks ok in 3D vision, it just needs a bit of tweaking to bring out more 3D elements outside of the cockpit.

Just because it is widely available and all TV's have the ability does not make it a success.

Yeah. I don't know a single person, either amongst my family, friends or work colleagues, who has ever used the feature on the TV. Like me, they all apparently don't give a crap about 3D TV. :D
