Odyssey and Instancing

Am I the only one concerned that the netcode and instancing will kill Odyssey before it even gets out of the door?

I think about all the time and effort it takes just to get a few mates in the same instance and I start to doubt that the "Sphere of combat" we are being promised will actually work at all.

This game run half on my computer and half on my dreams, so it will be as bad and as good as ever.
More seriously it's really hard to tell how Odyssey will work up, mostly because... we're lacking information about it. If it really came around early 2021 it will be the biggest discovery ever.

Yes with the recent Epic freebie and the latest CG, the busy systems in ED right now are crap and almost unplayable. So yes I think there is a very large potential for Odyssey to have more issues in that regard.

Rumor has it, there is a massive code refresh coming with it, having worked out many things in the game, and just not applied to the old build because its not worth the hassle

Whatever do you mean? FD are constantly updating their networking solution. Are you asking they try something else? Implying the system they developed isn't good enough?
