Time to finally deal with it I'd say.
To be fair, I preferred the Battlefield games when they didn't have buggy, long-winded animations for entering/exiting vehicles.Games w/o animations for changing suits: All of them
Games w/vehicles but no entry/exit animations: ED
It's good to stand out from the competition.![]()
Like docking/undocking your SRV ? Or SLF ?
Or perhaps the "friendship charging" animation ? Or the animation when outfitting a ship, or ship switching ?

At least they bothered putting the SLF entering and exiting the mothership.Who does the SLF launching and docking?
I let the crew launch/dock the SLF and i switch over only to fly the SLF...
.
... I am being launched out of the mothership or that I'm coming home to roost.
.
Ah, yes, Who can forget the entry exit animations of wing commander and x wing? Such memorable moments.
Do you let the crew do the SRV docking/undocking animation to ? Stop jumping around my argument trying to play on technicality. You know I'm right. We have an unskippable SRV animation, every time we dock/undock. Exiting/entering our SRV would not take much longer. This game is full of unnecessary unskippable animations.Who does the SLF launching and docking?

It's really cool, yes.At least they bothered putting the SLF entering and exiting the mothership.
... I've never ever gotten bored of that! It just feels like I am being launched out of the mothership or that I'm coming home to roost.
It would suck all the balls if it was just a little blue circle.

The only reason we don't for ship/SRV in Odyssey is because it was too much work/buggy/whatever happened.
It's really cool, yes.
Or as someone else hinted: our entire play in Elite could be nothing more than a telepresence game - since it's the only way Death in ED can be explained...

lets stop with the endless Adult Nerd Rage Festivals
This tells me that you have a rather selective memory and tend to fill in the gaps with amateur devbabble.
Does a teleport animation count?
There is an animation of the bystanders running away when they see your wiener. If I buy a new suit, is there an animation of me putting it on? Please tell me so I know whether I have to write an open letter or not.
I know, it can be intimidating to some. There is an animation of the bystanders running away when they see your wiener.
I thought there was something, but I could be wrong. No Man's Sky does the same thing but they have a teleportation animation, like a energized holographic circle when the player transits to/from the ground. If the teleportation is animated, I'll give them points for that . . . it's not, is it?
