Hello,


In the coming week we shall be going live with a "Server Status" page. This will show the current state of the Elite: Dangerous servers and display messages for any current or known issues regarding the online functionality of the game. Planned maintenance or down-time will also be communicated via this page; as well as in-game as normal.


This should give us more direct communication between the server engineers, and you, the players.


I shall return with a URL when it's live.

1000x thankyous, can someone at elite tell us when the changes in influence within solar systems are calculated, is it with the daily downtime, and only then or is there a tick based system, or is it in real time.

It happens in real time. I saw my status with the pilots federation change from neutral to friendly after handing in a mission.

Sorry im not talking about our rankings status with the pilot federation, im talking about changes in the influence of the political situation in each solar system ( and status changes for each faction including civil unrest, civil war, economic boom famine and a host of other things) how often do they offical change, how often are player actions calculated and update. Is the system set in stone or still in a state of flux, are there bugs and how does this relate to server
