I have to say for a non-beta male you sure do take a game and what is said on the forums quite seriously to the point of insulting someone for his online persona. Could you also blow your foot off with an Uzi trying to show off? Seriously it's a game in beta test with no-npc police and you are making the community look more toxic than the griefers.

You would say that though wouldnt you, I've been threatened, repeatedly insulted and more by you guys, but its no problem, I have not reported one post and neither will I. Still, its good to know you guys can take it as well as dish it out.

What really irks me is I love PVP, true PVP, and what you guys are doing and trying to justify bares no resemblance to real PVP.

It is people like you that give PVP a bad name, real PVP is about balance, close fights, undetermined outcomes, all you guys seem to want to do is have guaranteed wins against virtually defenceless opponents, real alpha male bahaviour that.....

And just for the record you guys really need to educate yourselves on this whole alpha/beta male thing, are you really all naive enough to think these determinations are decided by what people post on a forum????

Mate, I appreciate you standing up, but I don't need any help against these guys It is better to not reply to them, the same two heckle me in every thread, without success. Besides, it makes them feel inferior (and makes them look even more beta) if you ignore them when they are trying to provoke someone

Classic mirroring, exactly what you've been doing in every thread, and see above, you have no clue what an alpha or beta male is, or anything about the people your are accusing of being 'beta', but please keep up the pretence.

How come this thread hasn't been shut down yet? The OP stated he had asked for it to be closed down, as it isn't really serving any purpose (like every other griefing thread).

Just to clarify griefing in a beta is impossible because progress does not carry over in most cases and like it or not them doing something you dislike and you reporting it could, depending what is happening IE combat exploit, be much more valuable testing than trying out x,y,z ship is.

Just to clarify, griefing in beta is entirely possible when the griefer continues to do the same unprovoked attack on the same type (and oftimes same person) of a ship.

For example, a missile spam outside a station results in a dead player and the griefer finds out which station lasers & AI respond to him. When these results have already been posted on the forum, why bother trying to recreate it yet once again?

I tested Aulin defenses by shooting beam lasers at a fellow player. I got to make sure the Class 4 fixed were working again and I got to see how the station responded. I did not kill the player - I took off his shields and a bit of his hull (to make sure the beam laser did do damage to his hull). I then flew off. There was no point in taking it to his death. Or is there? Of course the griefers will say there is.

My apologies, I didn't catch the guys post midway through reviewing the discussion.

Seeing as this thread is now just an open argument of peoples colliding opinions over griefing and barely any discussion on how it can be avoided, I'm requesting that the moderators remove this thread as it has become a waste of space
