General On-foot enemies as tiny size class.

We have the system when classes of ship guns have penalties or bonuses against the ship classes(small, med and large).
But we don't have any visible bonuses against on-foot enemies.
Even the smalles multicannon has the round caliber that should blow NPC away with one projectile, but suit shield and armor can stop the shell without the problem.
In my opinion, on-foot entities should be equalled to the tiny enemy class, so even the 1st class gun will have bonus against them.

Mmm... nope, i dont thing they have...

What ship guns have is piercing and what ships have is armor hardness.
If piercing is bigger than the armor hardness, the guns do full damage (but no bonus), if piercing is smaller, then the guns damage (de)multiplied by piercing/hardness
The only time when ship guns get a bonus is when they hit negative resists

Are you sure?
A lot of people said that the small guns have 33% damage reduction against medium hulls and 66% against large hulls.
Small units like humans or drones are smaller than small hull, so they are can be called tiny class.
Therefore, even the small guns should be effective against them.
But NPCs can witstand even several hits before elimination, which is a complete joke.
Just look at the 1 class MC and you'll see its caliber - something about IRL medium caliber artillery.

Yea, go try some small rails or small gauss cannons (usually smaller guns have lower piercing, but not rails/gausses nor dumbfires)
