General On foot gravity, or lack thereof

Elite made a huge effort for physics once, but this expansion just gave up. Why? For example, zero g outposts should just let us fly around using the same physics many games use for swimming, like in Witcher or Skyrim. Just use the jet packs for "thrust" and zip around. Also inhibit running if using mag boots, since you don't keep both feet on the ground when you run.

The SRV skids all over the place on low g worlds because of the lack of gravity, yet we walk on 0.01g worlds just like 1g. Sure, the jumping is different but walk/running is the same and again, it should be more like bounding or hopping. Can't that be done? Or else, just flat give up and let the SRVs all drive as if on 1g surfaces.

I noted this via comments during the Alpha and hopefully FD will say that it will be developed as they go. It was an early goal to have EVA and one of the R&D development videos they used to promote Kickstarter sales had a snippet of a pilot using hand-rails to float into a sidewinder cockpit to sit down. The idea of magnetic shoes was also prominent as the reason folks could "walk" in ships and stations in zero-g (looks decent in The Expanse TV series).
