One more path and plaza question please.

I have figured out how to make a plaza. However I do not know how to stop it from expanding when I am finished with the size I want.

I right click thinking this will stop the building of the plaza but it does not. I try to move the mouse to another mode such as buildings or shops and when I do the plaza disappears. I hit escape and it is gone. How do I keep the plaza with the size I want without it continuing to expand or disappear? Thanks!

When you are done, just hit escape.

Just keep hitting escape until nothing is selected anymore or when you see the menu.

I'm sorry luuk. I don't get it. When I hit escape you can see what I am left with. Those little pieces of path. There is no plaza, there are are just these pieces left. What are those? There are no squares or anything. What menu are you talking about? I am missing something simple but I do not know what it is.

How hard is it to place a path next to another when you are in the gridded mode?

Now place 4 next to each other like this:

XX
XX

See?

Or are you just trolling me?

edit: it doesn't autofill. You have to place the paths at the exact spot where you want them,

And as a last resort (something that you could have done as well yourself):

Check this (or other similar) video's.

The path tool does not autofill, not even in grid mode. You have to place the paths one by one. As far as I can remember, dragging is also not possible (I don't use grid mode very often).
But the grid does not show you where the game is about to place paths, it shows you where you CAN place them.

Edit: Luuknoord was faster ;)

I was not trolling you at all.

What I did not understand was that once that blue grid came up you needed to click inside of it to make your plaza. I just did not get that. Thank you for all your help.

. Hopefully I can start to have some fun now. I will say that I'd like it if you could drag your path as far as you want and that for a plaza it was more like sim city where if you wanted 50 houses you simply put one and then drag to the shape you like. I think that's easier and less time consuming.

Thanks again!

I know you weren't :). We had some hard time understanding each other.

Sorry about that.

And yes, your suggestions would make path building more easier. But then you would need a global grid, and Planet Coaster doesn't have one.
