We have a Type 6, a Type 7, a Type 9 and a Type 10... where is the Type 8? Ok, it's not missing but if there were a Type 8 what would it look like? Would it be more like an oversize Type 7 or something completely different. I suppose the Keelback could be the missing Type 8 but it's smaller than a Type 7 so it really does not fit in the growth chart.

I suppose a T8 should (?) be larger than a T7 but, honestly, i'd prefer it if it was a medium-pad cargo competitor for the Python.
Give it the same cargo capacity as a Python, make it a bit worse than the krait in most other ways and flog it for around Cr30m.
And, if they could make it look a bit like this, all the better.

The way the T7 used to be before horizons.
They never really did come up with a good reason why they changed it.
Perhaps Lakon considered the number eight unlucky (due to historical Thargoid attacks) so skipped it...
Type 8 fell over and sank into the swamp.
Made me think of the episode of DS9 where Kira helps Dukat rig a large phaser cannon in the cargo bay of his ship.

I think the Type-8 will look like two Type-7s side by side smashed together.
