General Gameplay Online/Multiplayer idea(s)

Your Feature Request / Idea
Since this is a park management game mulltiplayer would be very difficult to implement, if not outright impossible, but I've seen quite a few interesting suggestions in forums:

From a (IMO) ridiculous PvP Pokemon-style dinosaur fightclub, to the more reasonable possibility of sharing and rating parks.

My own idea would be for the sandbox tool to be used as a Challenge scenarios creator that could be shared and rated in the Steam workshop (IDK if there's an equivalent for XboxOne and PS4).

You know, like set:
  • Starting budget (positive or negative)
  • Starting buildings and their conditions (functional, damaged or destroyed)
  • Starting loose/cautive dinosaurs
  • Available researchs, dinosaurs and dig sites.
  • Personalized weather, economic/variety/guest count difficulty and Hammond foundation fee

I would pay good money for a multiplayer version of this game, it could be set up with one large island where each player chooses a different predefined spot to build and the visitors would flock to the best park for competition. If you wanted to help each other out you could send gifts or share resources like rangers or island wide research. They made this style of building/management game play work in simcity's multiplayer game.

Multiplayer would come in handy for challenge mode? Especially on Jurassic difficulty you could probably work in a team of three running the park and you could get advise and tips from other players playing alongside you helping you in challenge Mode.

That sort of competitive/cooperative challenge mode was not what I was thinking...but I can't say it's a bad idea.

What I'd like to see is friend stats for challenges. The challenge is singleplayer. But seeing the stats of your friends and how well they do can create a fun competitive environment.
