Only 16 scenery pieces, no single trees etc ???

Hi together,
there are only 16 (!) scenery objects in the game. I thought we can explore more, but no!!!! Thats very frustrating after their announcements about object to make parks more beautiful. Sorry, but 16 pieces is a joke!!!! No variations of tables, no bench or bins (even without a function would be ok for me) no single tree, flowers or bushes for the ugly spaces between the buildings. I also miss a really green gras texture to make the gray or brown surfaces beautiful. There are still only 2 types of paths in three sizes which I find very weak for a Part 2 too. The dinosaurs and new maps look great again, of course, but the fans mainly wanted more design and scenery options. The new variation system of the buildings is cool, but we can't see all the upgrades graphically. A very big big point from the community: unfortunately the maps are not much bigger either (why cant we build in the wild area from the campaign in sandbox???), although that was promised. The most of the dinos need very large enclosures, the area is quickly built up and I want as many different dinosaurs as possible in the park. The avarium or the lagoon take up additional space too. In sandbox mode I miss an option to deactivate the collision. Not even stones can be placed directly next to each other or paths between buildings... There is still a lot of improvement to do... I hope we will get these things and features with the next updates, also for console please 😍

At least they gave us expensive backup generators that drain your money and triceratops that beat each other up every 3 minutes.

Making the important parts of the game is the focus when it's being created. Would you rather have a hundred decorations or finished models, textures, programming, functioning game modes, etc? Now that it's launched they can devote more time and energy to the fluff.

Yet they had to implement stupid, unneeded features that just make the game drag out three times as long as it did before.

Nobody. I repeat. Nobody, was asking for having to micromanage fuel. Nobody. I repeat. Nobody, was asking to micromanage healing the dinosaurs (It's a fine idea--in theory. As an occasional event it is quite good, but when your raptors or triceratops are needing treatment every two minutes it IS NOT fun. It's tiresome).

What everybody wanted was more decorations and more attractions. Instead we somehow ended up with even fewer decorations.

Do you understand what I am saying to you right now?

I want all the decorations from jwe1 added to jwe2. That'd satisfy most of us. I was upset about the trees. But a lot of the foliage or ground cover will create single trees. So once I can get on sandbox I don't think that'll be my biggest complaint. Not having as much or as accurate JP stuff will be.

Yes, you're upset that Frontier didn't throw away the park management part of this park management game leaving only a petting zoo where you stick dinosaurs into pens and then stare at them as the only gameplay. Also outside of the short and easy campaign mode one of the very first things you can research is the small power station, do that and never worry about the backup generator again.

Let's be frank here, this is clearly a step backwards on the customization front. We are missing decorations and the individually placed trees are absent, rather than a clear step above JWE we got a mixed bag of some major improvements and some steps backwards. Even if they just imported these from the first game it would have been one thing, but to actually wind up having less for no apparent reason is another.

Instead we got more variety in the brush tools, but the ability to mix and match foliage is limited without the ability to place them down individually. I personally prefer the management side of the game, but Sandbox is really in need of work.

I like the improvements to DINOSAUR management.

Having to make sure where you house them, make their environment is just right, be sure to house them with the correct species etc is interesting. Making sure you house them in enclosures with the right amount of food stuffs. It's a lot to consider when making enclosures and its interesting. It makes the dinosaur seem more real. I even like the eggs ahving different traits--though the aggression of some species needs drastically reducing. Trikes are ridiculous.

What I don't enjoy is having to constantly monitor your medics or have to manually rest your researchers every minutes or refuel everything. It's boring and a drag.
