Only one choice. Be a Pirate!

I really want to test other ships but i have to earn CR but i can't because i'm getting blasted what seems ever few minutes by another PC. Just ****** me off when it happen inside the space port. I know this is beta but i want to test out a lot of combo fittings. But i can't do that when all can seem to get is 30k CR then lose 5k for insurance then move to another area in the game then it happens again.

So in a nutshell, what your saying is that the concentration of PvP gamers is actually inhibiting your ability to properly play test certain aspects of the game?

Wasn't the point of early access specifically to fully bug test ALL aspects of the product? :)

Best way to grind is strange, do not upgrade until you have plenty of money as you lose nothing if you get blown up in your default Sidewinder, just choose the free replacement.

If these "pirates" only blow up other player's ships and don't do anything else for money, then they'll be left in the dust fairly quickly as the traders and bounty hunters rack up the credits and get better ships, drives, shields and weapons.

A real pirate won't shoot you til you've blown up. He'll give you a few shots and tell you to drop your cargo. If you choose to fire back at that time, then what a good pirate should do is disable you. Ideally, shoot out your life support and let you suffocate. Then he can crack open your cargo bay and get the goodies inside that would make the endeavor profitable.

Why not make an offer for anyone who is willing to escort your hauler or whatever the trading ship u fancy by paying him in scoopable cargo ?

Make an offer on this forum, someone surelly will want to grab that job, you know game immersion ...

Very good idea, when I get my hands on a big hauler I will do just that, on the other hand, when I get the money to buy a hauler the game will be released LOL.

So far in the game, after about 3 weeks playing it, I haven't been attacked by a random player once.
I did attack one guy at one time, but he a delicious 500 credit bonus on him, and if you're wanted, you're fair game in my book.

However, a sidewinder with a glorified flashlight against a cobra with 4 beams of excruciating heat was not an ideal fight for me...
