Open Letter to FD 2 from the community

This is another 1,000er easy.

Whilst this is obviously satire, the point is that us long term forumites have seen various campaigns and petitions and open letters before.

I think it was around Horizon's launch that we saw peak open letter.

IMHO open letters and petitions are rarely effective.

I've had a quick look at the newer ones and I agree with some of the points but can't be bothered to respond. FDEV shouldn't be reactionary, rather they should have a plan and a strategy that they don't have to share and do that.

As for new posters, I will always respond in a helpful way, sympathising with the issue but explaining how to change their gameplay to how the game is, rather than demanding quick fixes.

One of the worst thing newer players can do is come here and expect open discussion, because the Frontier zealots will ride in to undermine and insult them for daring to post an "unapproved" post.

I genuinely believed the damage has been done, and it's thanks to the incompetence of the moderation.

You may see yourself as justified but truth be told you're just serial harassers. The kind of people that take advantage of anonymity to be the kind of people they are in real life.

Zealots: "You know I really don't personally see anything wrong with earning _ . I have about a hundred as we speak. People always come here expecting something for nothing, everything can't be handed out to you. Why should Frontier change drop rates for you?"


People like that basically are dogs, actually it's not fair to dogs to even compare them to people like this. Dogs at least tend to be balanced and helpful, most of you are just overall negative influences on the forums.

Ok. I'm no stranger to making a bad post and being called out for it.

I really think you need to take a breath and step back a bit here. Lots of people have issues with the game. You do have to acknowledge you are on an internet forum, communication isn't the same as a face to face conversation and different people have different gameplay experiences.

If you stick around for a bit and stay open to other people's thoughts and experiences, you might find you enjoy the game more than you already do.
