So recently I bought an Anaconda. My first.

And like all moves I make regarding first purchases of ships. I did the stupid and bought one without any money to outfit it or have it's rebuy.

So it's not a very GOOD Anaconda. I returned it to my home system only to find I couldn't outfit it because all the missions were sending me to outposts which the Conda can't dock at. Meaning I can't make money in this thing right now since it can't fight or jump far enough for trading purposes.

So right now I have a 150 Million Hangar ornament.

I had enough money scraped together that I've decided to purchase an Adder and leave the Conda gathering dust while I start anew to build up the backing to get back into a ship that I can make money in again before I outfit my Conda setting me back considerably in my plans for my home system.

Unfortunately the only missions available are trading source material missions. Which I don't have enough money to buy said resources to source them and complete the mission and get paid. Flying around a half slapped together Adder with a Conda I can't really use.

Now I know what you're thinking. "Adhock you're a fool for buying a Ship you can't fund. You should just blow it up and start over in a Sidewinder. Take the lessons to heart and don't be an idiot next time."

To which, I agree. If I get stuck in a freewinder again. I deserved it.

But I'm not beaten yet and I'd like to say...

I love this game and love how it challenges me to think laterally. :D

Wish me luck getting out of the mess I got myself into Commanders. I'm going to enjoy digging myself out of this hole! :p This is going to be more fun then when I bought my Python without rebuy!

Accept the loss and sell the Annie. Buy back whatever you were using previously to make credits. Flippant to say, I know, but it's got to be quicker than using an Adder.

Most certainly but I'm stubborn and want to try some new ships for awhile while I wait out the civil war that unbalancing my home system's mission board so I can dig on of the factions out of perpetual civil war. I'm trying to get my faction in control but I can't do it when we don't have control over ether station and they're not giving me any missions because all 20 odd missions on the board are being offered by the two factions locked in civil war with the lowest levels of influence in the system.

I always find it odd hen people run into a problem, post on the forum how the game needs to be fixed or such to remove their problem, and when people post suggestions on how to over come their issue the reply is "I am stubbornly, I am not going to change or try something else"

Always imagine someone running into a brick wall repeatedly, demanding it be removed, and when told, have you tried the door next to you, they refuse and continue to run at the brick wall.
