Operation: Eyes in the Dark - A DSSA Deployment Event

Day 13! Unlucky for some, but not for us. The carrier has made it to our penultimate stop, that of the previously unexplored system of Oob Chrea TS-A d1-3. This neutron star has a number of planets around it, and a secondary L dwarf. As at arrival, there were a number of planets I left unexplored, so feel free to head out and scan them. If you do though, exercise caution on your return, as the carrier is scarily close to the neutron star, at around 2 Mm! We will be resting here for a little longer as we won't be jumping tomorrow. We therefore depart 2100 IGT Saturday towards our (almost) final destiantion, pending settling down in our final deployment system for the foreseeable future.

We'll, I just scanned the complete system..many bio signals but too far away... Why did you park so close to the N star? (IRL you will be just a bunch of atoms smeared at the surface by now...)

When I target a system I've not been to before, I can only jump to the primary star, in this case the NS. I could have done an in-system hop to a different planet, but I thought it was pretty cool being that close to the jets

Can believe I just miss you again... Just 15 min in each system or now it's less?
Oh no! It's about 15 minutes, and I've been jumping on cooldown pretty much. Our next destination is Phae Auscs WV-D d12-4 and our final destination is the jump after, Phae Auscs SP-E c25-1.

Ok thanks, the c25-1 it's your final final?
Pretty much! That's where the other carrier is currently waiting for those who want a trip back. Over the next week or so I'll be looking around the immediate vicinity, along with anyone else who's hanging around in the area, to find a particularly cool system to settle the carrier down in for the next few years

Day 15! We're pretty much at the end of the journey now. We have arrived at Phae Auscs SP-E c25-1, and met up with the Amerigo Vespucci, run by CMDR Rick Floss, which will be offering rides back to the bubble. In terms of DSSA Seeker of Dreams, we will stage from this system while we settle on the final home for her. I'll be looking for a system within ~200 ly, ideally with a tritium hotspot, and happy to take suggestions! I'll then pick a system Sunday 19th, which will become the deployment system. Thank you for coming on this journey CMDRs!

Message from CMDR Rick Floss:
The Amerigo Vespucci will leave around tomorrow at 12 game time. Anyone who wants a ride back please be sure to be on as we will head straight to the bubble no stop except for the night break
That's 1200 IGT Sunday, so if you want the quick (carrier) trip back, make sure you transfer in the next ~12 hours or so!
