Operations...when?

I've been asking this everywhere and it's been complete radio silence. At this rate I don't think we are getting operations in april..
I think folks are just wishing there was more communication tho. They were doing so good recently and then it feels worse recently.
I'm not sure what they could communicate in this case. "It will be published when it's ready"?
Tell us if it's delayed, show us more footage, talk about the new "vessel" that's also supposed to be this month.
Calling something that's 4 months late potentially 'rushed' is stretching the meaning of the word quite a bit. It's already delayed and likely will be delayed again. Even after that and some beta access time period, there will still be patches and hotfixes. It's not like the longer it takes the better it will be.
I just want to see the next large combat ship that's 150% the capability of the vette. I could not care less about some update about foot gameplay. Fdev would do better just churning out ships and vehicles every couple months. Their ideas for addon features just aren't fun.

FDev already announced a patch for 18.05.2026. What may be the content...
The new ship, but not Operations. Maybe.
Fdev said April so they have time to finish it. I wouldn't mind if they delay to polish it.

I don't necessarily agree with that.
They aren't delaying it by this much for fun and giggles. Clearly it has turned out to be a bigger patch then they envisioned at first, and I'm convinced that they are working hard to make it work as well as possible. From my perspective they can and should take their time. As mentioned, I'd prefer a well-polished as-bug-free-as-possible update than a rushed shoddy buggy update.
What if... this on-foot "upgrade" is again reducing performance significantly, only this time they realized that before the roll-out? I guess after desperate (and eventually fruitless) tries to mitigate the problem in code, they could by now think about which part of the community could be culled without too much riots in order to go forward. VR players, maybe. Everybody still on Win10. Maybe those still running cards that are not similar to NVIDIA's 40 series.

They'll announce that from this update forward support for DLSS 5 will be mandatory. The game won't even start without that support. Oh, and 64 GB RAM minimum.
Absolutely possible, yeah. Imagine Operations really turning out to be on-foot CQC - a feature nobody called for - and then also coming with such a requirement.
Expecting an announcement in the middle of the Easter holidays is a bit silly. We may shortly get an announcement of an announcement, but next week when most staff are back to work is the earliest I would expect anything. The CG ended early, but was intended to run until next week.

This. In the UK this week is popular for extended time off, as we get long 4-day weekend. It's only 9th, they have 3 weeks left!

Maybe I'm not familiar enough with UK holidays, but middle of Easter? Okay, if that's the case, fair enough. But surely there would have been the possibility for communication before that.
