General / Off-Topic Orbital Cemetary of Tionisla

This is the place where we (hopefully) can jettison our spare space maps and galactic charts.

I start with:

The Site's Galcop can of course always freely operate in this star cluster...

Dammit! No rock hermits there in the 'Oumuamua... Few scientific papers about it. Somewhat conclusively.

Not “Rama” then? 😁

A big 👍 to the authors for introducing me to the term gigayear - or “Gyr” as it is written in their article. I’ve been blasting quite a few of those around the Old Worlds recently, and there’s always been a question hovering over how to pronounce the name 😛

Gee'yeah! Imagine a star sector where needy Commanders/scientists want/share/require/demand/alarm/critique for a peer review on their work...

For this site, this thread is an insignificant server load, but for those serious scientists whom works are quoted, referenced, and linked here... it could be the worth of a few Alien Items.

They are just those (peer reviewed) guys who will make to go and expand the Humanity up on the Kardashev scale.

Commanders! Just post here when it is 'post-worthy'!
