Out of curiosity, what happens if you get hostile rep with a Superpower?

What are the effects of having hostile rep with a superpower such as the Empire? Especially if you were allied with several Imperial minor factions? Do you lose station docking rights?

I'm not entirely sure.

I used to be quite hated by the Alliance, though I never ventured into their space-stations during those times. I CAN say however that the hate 'cools off' after a while allowing safe passage through their space.

It may effect docking privileges... Though it will not effect local rep if you gained the ire elsewhere (afaik).

From whqt i remember you scanner shows thoses superpowers ships as purple and if they scan you they attack without attracting a bounty.

Stations will let you dock (stupidly) but if they scan you while docking youre dead.
