Thanks for the great participation all! I am still collecting but this will be a nice base.

I have one more request:
Could someone take a screenshot of a gold (or even white/yellow) painted Anaconda, as seen from "above" (like parked). Important is good light, near-no shadows.
Even more perfect would be a Conda "standing" pointing 90 degrees up to the sky just above a planet's surface, with a sun in the background ... but most important would really be the clear, hi(ghish)-res shot of the Anaconda from above.

Technical website issue: I cannot log into wp-admin because the CAPTCHA test pops up all the time (even after answering the CAPTCHA correctly). All plug-ins have been deactivated, JS enabled etc. tested both with Firefox (current version) and Opera, OS X.
No idea ...

Rats, for the press article (if it ever goes life) I would need a screenshot of a Rescue, hi-res preferred (sampled down to Hi Quality JPG, >8) yet since that doesn't work in Open, normal quality should do as well.
More important would be the setting, a nice dramatic background (sun? Astroids?) and, most important: Good contrast! So not dark-on-black.
Anyone?

EDIT:
Update on the website issue: CAPTCHA works correctly under Firefox for Win 10, but still neither under Opera nor Firefox (all Plug-ins disabled, security settings checked) under OS X 10.6. CAPTCHA query just continues to pop up.

What a night. An Overseer collar dropped on me out of the clear sky and it became a full-scale 3-hour Drill with the client ... well, fine with me, love the smell of burning gasoline


In other news, I updated the Dispatch Command List, including some HexChat user commands to make life easier (while I suspect that mecha2 will make life near-too easy for dispatchers [big grin] )

Respective un-targeting jump destinations to go to SC, remember some cannot target any local objects because they do not have a scanner fitted. Remember also that scan results are shared between wing members, but only if the scanning wing member does not yet have data on the system (bug?)

Nope. I have a few (many) systems where I'm scooping for a good three minutes and the star never shows on the radar.

I noticed this yesterday.

It happened when I had to answer the phone, and I came back to the game having been dumped out of supercruise because of being too close to the star.

I think that your ship needs to be pointing at the star for it to be recognised and shown as unknown. If it doesn't 'tag' the star all you have to do is 'honk', and that will find that star and dislay it on the radar as well.
