So, just for your information (in case anyone wondered why i am out of the ratpack):
Surly_Badger kicked me out after the incident for me refusing to unblock the code ingame.
(meaning i refuse to be of service to them ever again.)
*message ends*
With the refuel complete, Fionn informed us that he had less than a minute of oxygen remaining. 49 seconds in fact!
I still feel that way. I feel that's a general guideline for life, since getting angry at someone else grants them power over you, not the other way around; it gives them more control over your life than they probably deserve. I suppose you could say I agree with Yoda: anger leads to The Dark Side.
I did not kick you out. I suggested that if you wanted to hold a grudge, maybe you should quit. You'll note that you're still on the leaderboard and, when you said you were quitting I took you off the roster for a while but added you back at the good suggestion of another CMDR.

If you interpret what happened as "Surly Badger kicked me out" then we do not have the same interpretation of events.
As far as I am concerned, you're still welcome to Fuel Rat, though I really really really don't like the idea of blacklisting anyone - and have said so repeatedly - and I'd rather not have someone going around waving a blacklist and representing the Fuel Rats in those terms, any more than I want to see someone representing the Fuel Rats while hunting down and revenge-killing other players. If one of us starts doing something like that, it makes all of us look bad. Edit: making us all look bad opens us all up to reprisals and an endless cycle of looking worse.
If that is OK with You i will gladly be back in service.
On the one hand there is loyalty to the cause and paying ransoms "may" secure a rats release.
On the other if it is widely known that no ransoms are ever paid by the fuel rats it should negate all roleplaying pirate attacks although will lead to insurance screens should an unaware pirate attempt demands.

I am honored to fly with you!
I apologize if I wasn't clear in the chat. The experience of our private discussion helped me greatly to clarify my philosophy of "even though we are anarchic, we are a collective and the actions of each individual reflect on the collective" So I thank you for that.
I think that if such things come up in the future it's covered under the "let the CMDRs that are dealing with it decide what they think is right at the time"
For example, if pirates hold you ransom and demand snickers bars, I'll probably go as high as two, or maybe a small cheese pizza. I.e.: that's how I role-play. I don't think that how I role-play should govern how you role-play and if you're dealing with a ransom situation, it's your call at the time.
That said, I'd like to encourage everyone to remember that while we're anarchic, we're a collective, and though we are not led and don't have rules, as a collective our individual actions reflect on all of us. Therefore I strive to be honorable (and slightly weird) because I believe that's Glorious!
And just because this all feels too serious:

(What's cuter than one badger? A bucket of baby badgers!)
And I'll just share this comment from a CMDR Honcho that the Rat Pack just rescued, made in #RatChat:
<CMDRA_Honcho> I am really really impressed
<CMDRA_Honcho> Just wish my local car breakdown cover was this good!
ok, that's Glorious!
I don't usually do Double Posts, but this one deserve it's own :
I am very sorry to announce to you that we incurred a loss today.
As soon as Honcho was saved, a brave explorer called us because he ran out of fuel between stars. He was 500LY away so I thought it would be an easy task.
Loetmichel and RalfGabriel joined in on the race and fun was had by all parties involved. RalfGabriel appeared immediately before me in the system and we both proceeded to look for a wing beacon. When the Rescuee had only 8 minutes of air we found out he was 81 kLs away.
Damn, that's a run. During the run our customer had to disable-enable beacon multiple times because we had glitches where we did not see the beacon.
RalfGabriel started on the other side of the sun from me, near-er to the beacon but with reckless supercruising I was on top of the beacon first.
I jump in... Nothing. I jump out, in, out, in... Four times in a row I don't see nothing. Comms tell me our customer saw me, so it must be instancing issues.
And then, as I was about to enter for a fifth time, No beacon. I watch up, to the Wing icons, and see one is greyed out.
"Destroyed".

I know we're not a 'group' as such, but I think

may be worth a look, would hate to think of us missing out on the chance of something.
Thoughts?
