Horizons OUtfitting buy and sell prices

Hey fellow Commanders - spotted something odd.

Why are shipyards outfitting us for free? When you sell ships and ship components the shipyards give you all your money back for the parts.

They buy them for the SAME price that they sell for? So how the hell do they pay for the mechanics and equipment. I mean the commodities markets ahve buy and sell prices - so the brokers have their skim?

Why not the outfitters. Then at least this would explain where all the humungous tonnes of credit come from?

Call me dumb, but for realism (and that's what the rest of the game does brilliantly with incredible attention to detail and phsyics), surely the shipyards should have a profit skim when you upgrade components.

They should buy-back components at 90-95% of the sell price, depending on rarity and tech level of the shipyard - just for realism.

In the same vein, it would be nice to see mooring fees: really small amounts would be fine - based on pad size per minute; with a modifier for shipyard tech level (so Coriolis charge more per minute than Outposts, and places that can sell Size 8 stuff would charge more than those that can only sells Size 1 & 2 stuff.
It would just add a hint of economic realism to match the mind-boggling detial in the astrophysics.

There was a huge outcry when F D introduced a 10% cut on selling modules (as per ships) so it was removed. Presumably with module storage now being available the might reintroduce the 10% cut again.
