PA Engineering advise

New to Engineering. Started with FSDs and am done now.
I know what I want in most categories but I'm curious what advise you may have as to what option to pursue on Plasma Accelerators.

I'm not good aiming fixed weapons at long range (yet, getting better) so long range to me at this point is not what I want.
What have you found works best in practice in PvP and for PvE? I realize it's overkill in PvE but I'm learning to use them better so......

I like running 2x2 and 2x3 versions. I'm not currently using the size 1's.
These would be for an FDL and a Corvette at the moment.
I'm debating between Efficient and Focused, maybe rapidfire?

Efficient practically cancels every drawback that come with PAs, except the slow projectile speed. If you're looking for the latter, take Focused.

Also, are you using mouse + keyboard ?

No, I have a HOTAS. I'm just old :rolleyes: Getting better and better with fixed weps though. But not as good as I want to be.
I only fire PAs from under 500m right now or I miss.

Well don't worry about that, PAs are difficult to fire at long range due to the slow projectile, they are short / medium range weapons.
