I have £10, ear marked, ready for a wire frame skin for the asp.

As is commonly said around these parts. Just hurry up and take my money...

I'm in the market for the 'shark teeth' paintjob I've seen on some pirate Cobras... =D

EDIT

Paintjob, obviously, not PAINjob. I don't want that.

It's actually a good sign that they aren't releasing paint jobs very fast ... it means they aren't hurting for money!

When they start trying to sell you a new paint job every week, that's the time to get worried about the future of this game :)

That said, clipper paint jobs please

As long as there aren't at least 50 to 100 different paintjobs for each ship i don't care.
Five to ten to choose from still feels like flying what everyone else does... so i can go with the stock version.

We need patterns and paint colours, I would be happy stuck with my default paint patterns, if only I could change the colours!

I might even payba few quid per colour if they were made available for all of my ships.

With external camera view coming in 1.2, it'll be good if they can ramp up the release of new skins. It's not essential but I want FD to make more money and this is a great way for them to get it. I'd buy skins for all my ships (I currently have a pack for the Viper and the pirate skin for the Python, but want more choices for the Python and I'd like a skin for the Conda).

I would like to see more paint skins for ships not yet listed on the shopping Website currently also! Type-6 etc... I am sure FD is working on it already, but why not add my Vote to this subject.. hehe :)

I always wanted to see community created skins/decals be available. They could just put limitations on how many creations one person can create and submit and how often. The creator could get a cut from sales and FD would make easy money from outsourcing creators (though this could have the effect of FD employees relocating effort to other areas or, worst case, lose their jobs). All FD would need to do would be hire a screener to look and verify the submitted creation follows rules and etiquette. This seems mostly win/win to me. FD gets easy money, and we get a plethora of skins/decals.

Aye, I'd buy anything sexy, but custom decals and the like rock the most. 50's style pin up model riding an atom bomb for me.

As long as she's got red hair, red lips and covered in tattoos...

I don't know if this has been suggested as I am too lazy to read all 76 pages of posts but I would love to see an

E3 as a decal for anyone who has attained "elite" in all three

I am still waiting for the Universal Parcel Service brown livery for my Type-6, or perhaps a Galactic Express white and colored livery.

Cow-spot pattern T-7 and T-9 would also be nice.
And how about some matte black gothic skins for the Asp explorer?

Also, a hello kitty decal, or a hello pirate:

Not having these is a game killer. I'm sure people will pitch hissy fits in droves on the forums if they don't have the option. Just kidding.

What I wouldn't mind seeing is faction specific liveries and faction rank decals. I heard that faction decals were in-game but I doubt that since I haven't really seen any.

ouuuhhh I've scratched the paint job.

So I'm sporting a 92% paint job on my type 6 and now on my ASP. I don't really see much use for a "show and shine" hull. I like the "its been used" look. (even tho we can't look at it, yet) When on occasion when I need to repair, I do so via the individual modules so as to not fix the paint.

How many of you also run with "used" and "abused" paint jobs ?

I wasn't aware that was a feature. But now that I am, I may go ahead and let my ships get scuffed up. I do like the "weathered look"
