Heyo!

I often replay in challenge mode on medium/hard difficulty to build my parks from the ground up, with having to research, dig up, and manage everything from zero. I find it fun to replay over and over again and to even continue after the 5 star stretch goal. Each playthrough I would try to make these parks unique from each other.

It is a plus to set dig sites to random, it definitely makes park building more engaging if you are uncertain on the dinosaurs you would receive.

Here are some park ideas I would like to make.

Herbivore Park: Make a park with nothing but herbivores

Carnivore Park: Make a park with nothing but carnivores, bonus if you could do it in Isla Pena for the achievement.

Jurassic Park themed Park: Make a park with the original movie dinosaurs, which are: Brachiosaurus, Dilophosaurus, Gallimimus, Metriacanthosaurus (Genome), Parasaurolophus, Triceratops, Tyrannosaurus, Velociraptor, Herrerasaurus (Park Map), and Proceratosaurus (Park Map).

The Lost World Jurassic Park: Have a park with the Edmontosaurus( Skeleton), Gallimimus, Mamenchisaurus, Pachycephalosaurus, Parasaurolophus, Stegosaurus, Triceratops, Tyrannosaurus, Velociraptor, Compsognathus, and Pteranodon.

• Jurassic Park III Themed Park: Have a park with Ankylosaurus, Brachiosaurus, Ceratosaurus, Corythosaurus, Parasaurolophus, Spinosaurus, Stegosaurus, Triceratops, Tyrannosaurus, Velociraptor, and pteranodon. There is also a mysterious dinosaur in the embryonics lab scene which looks like a hadrosaur, I say use either Edmontosaurus, Maiasaura, or both if you wish to use those dinosaurs.

• Jurassic World Themed Park: Use the dinosaurs from the first Jurassic World movie, which are the Ankylosaurus, Apatosaurus, Dilophosaurus (Hologram), Gallimimus, Indominus Rex, Pachycephalosaurus, Parasaurolophus, Spinosaurus (Skeleton), Stegosaurus, Triceratops, Tyrannosaurus, Velociraptor, Pteranodon, and Archaeornithomimus (name).

• Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom Themed Park: Use the dinosaurs from the second Jurassic World movie, which are the Ankylosaurus, Apatosaurus, Brachiosaurus, Dilophosaurus (Diorama), Gallimimus, Indominus Rex (skeleton), Pachycephalosaurus, Parasaurolophus, Stegosaurus, Triceratops, Tyrannosaurus, Velociraptor, Allosaurus, Baryonyx, Carnotaurus, Indoraptor, Sinoceratops, Stygimoloch, Pteranodon, and you could also use the Nasutoceratops to tie in the short film with the latest movie.

• Jurassic Park Operation Genesis Themed Park: Use the dinosaur from the previous JP business sim, which are the Ankylosaurus, Brachiosaurus, Camarasaurus, Ceratosaurus, Corythosaurus, Dilophosaurus, Edmontosaurus, Gallimimus, Kentrosaurus, Pachycephalosaurus, Parasaurolophus, Spinosaurus, Stegosaurus, Torosaurus, Triceratops, Tyrannosaurus, Velociraptor, Styracosaurus, Allosaurus, Carcharodontosaurus, Acrocanthosaurus, Albertosaurus, Ouranosaurus, Dryosaurus, Homalocephale.

New dinosaur Park: A park with dinosaurs not on the previous lists: Chasmosaurus, Chungkingosaurus, Deinonychus, Diplodocus, Dracorex, Giganotosaurus, Gigantspinosaurus, Huayangosaurus, Muttaburrasaurus, Nodosaurus, Pentaceratops, Polacanthus, Sauropelta, Struthiomimus, Tsintaosaurus, Crichtonsaurus, Majungasaurus, Suchomimus, Ankylodocus, Olorotitan, Stegoceratops, Spinoraptor, Troodon, Dreadnoughtus, Iguanodon, Euoplocephalus, Nigersaurus.

• Dinosaur Protection group Park: Use dinosaurs on the DPG list.

• Prioritize contracts playthrough: Try to play a challenge mode where you prioritize doing the contracts as you build the park, it will lead to some interesting situations and choices.

• Mega tour park: Similar to the JP era, make a tour only park in the Jurassic World Era.

• Grid Park: Build a park with 90 degree snap to grid system.

• Flowy Pak: Make exhibits with no straight lines.

• Never sell dinosaurs or cancel incubation park: Sometimes there will be a hiccup, do not neglect those hiccups! Make the most out of them.

• Bushy Park: EVERY OPENING HAS TO BE COVERED WITH ALL BUSH TYPES, EVEN WATER!!! Colorful dinosaurs are also encouraged!

• Dirt Park: Welcome to dirt park, where there is only dirt, no grass, and dinosaurs are dirty (brown, yellow, orange).

• Smol Park: Have a park with only small herbivores and small carnivores, sometimes even the smallest member of large species like Nigersaurus for sauropods.

• Big Park: Have a park with no small herbivores or carnivores. Only the large are in charge!

• No touchy: Have a park where the exhibits do not connect to other exhibits at all.

• Very touchy: All exhibits have to connect to each other somehow. Monorails are encouraged in this playthrough.

• Zoo Tycoon 2 Extinct Animals: Use these dinosaurs that also appeared in Zoo Tycoon! Ankylosaurus, Carnotaurus, Deinonychus, Kentrosaurus, Stegosaurus, Styracosaurus, Triceratops, Tyrannosaurus, Velociraptor. You could also use the Albertosaurus for Stokesorus, and Spinoraptor for the Utahraptor. There was also a brachiosaurus slide because the game could not have that large of the dinosaur in the game, but you could use the brachiosaurus in JWE :)

So far, these are some ideas I could come up with for the time being. I also tried a single dinosaur park (only one dinosaur to reach 5 stars), but it is very very very boring.

There is actually a park that I want to try out. It has been done in the early times of this game, where there are zero gates in your park. You have to create hills near each exhibit wall that you have to manually use to drive and jump over the fences. This could be a fun challenge to get to locations ASAP without the convenience of gates, and will make the ranger sabotage of opening gates useless.

So you'd have your Ranger teams ramp in and out of enclosures?

If you are a nerd like me then the ideas of making a Kanto Region Park & Final Fantasy Park maps sound appealing as well. I’m halfway through with a Kanto region park using Nublar 93 & same for Spira Park (FFX) using Nublar 93 both in JW era for monorails.
