Parkbuilding ... I fail always and could need some help

Hello Community ...

I could need a few tips and tricks because I can not get on with my park. I have already started about hundreds (maybe a bit over the top) of new parks. But I just do not know what to build first? The rides or the environment?

I would like to have a area with a big themed Dark Ride in one part of my park. In addition, there should also be the "Genie Ride" and another ride like the "Weisshorn", or his little brother in the same same aera .

My "problem" is that I want connect all this rides with a big plaza and the entrance buildings should "fit" to the grid of the pathes, that I use for the plaza.

But I would really like to get some helpful links about "Park building" in general. I have seen a lot of those streams, from DeLadysigner or Rudi Rennkamel. But of them are recorded in a Speedbuild mode and it's difficult to follow them really as inspiration or as kind of tutorial.

First , i remember you were a good creator on RCT3 !!!!!!
Just a trick for YOUTUBE , when looking at "Speedbuild mode" tutorials : go on the little wheel , down right and change the speed to "0.25" , it's better to follow ....but the sound become quite weird ....[ugh] , that's the trick i use ![wink]

Thanks breezerHOG, this list is really usefull. Gecaum, your tip to reduce the speed fof the video is brilliant. Didn't know, that this is possible. Thanks for that tip. And thanks also for the nice words about the good old times.
