In RCT3 they Did have path Signs BUT they were Double Sided so you could not have a "Do Not Enter" sign on your Long Exit Paths, without having the guest exiting the ride not entering back into the park. I could be wrong and might have not seen the Single Sided signs.
In RCT2, if you had paths that were over each other and you placed a "Do Not Enter" on the one Above or Below, that it made the guest on the path without the sign not go any further also.
Also, if you put a sign on a path with the name of a attraction/ride saying "This way to ...." It didn't matter, The Guest did not interact with the sign, it was like you didn't even place it. So the guests would continue to get lost ( even ones with Maps and a Square Main Path )
So If a Guest sees a sign saying "This Way to..." and that's what they are looking for, they recognize it and head that way instead of the opposite direction.
Signs/Billboards with a Map of the Park would be nice also and have Guests actually look at it and use it to help Reduce the amount of Guest getting Lost. The Map being Updated each time you add an Attraction/Stall/Ride.
