Does anyone know if the existing Cobra paint jobs from the Frontier store will be transferable to the new MK IV?

They won't. The Mk.IV shape is too different from the Mk.III for this to work.

And it seems that an awful lot of work is required to produce even one paintjob.

I'm not one to complain but FD could ha made it clearer that the Cobra MK IV wasn't in the 1.5 update, the only ship I've been waiting for and we still know next to nothing about it, why show it in the video of ships that you can fly in 1.5 if it's not in, just a real let down personally speaking.

Was ninja'd a bit on this but going from the very first model to the latest isnt a fair analogy. If you look at the pic below you can see a defineate progression through the design with each step. Any ship design would also go through this and not be a step from #1 to #6.

I agree with the e46 I have a 330i Msport version!

My grandfather had the first one. Lovely car.
The new one is trying to look like a Jag.

The skins of the Mk III will certainly not be used on the Mk IV. This is not the same ship. Certainly new skins for the Mk IV

Maybe it's an indication that they are touching up the model, the reaction was very mixed when it was first shown

All ships and all equipment are always available during beta at LHS3447 and Shinrarta Dehzra so people can concentrate on testing ships and loadouts instead of cruising around looking for them. If it's not at those two, it's not in beta.

It is listed in a video on the ships of 1.5 but it appears to be in Horizons. Definitely not a good way to communicate.

Don't really like the modified look, but it's hard to say from one angle in one photo. Perhaps it'll 'come together' more from other angles. However, I've slowly become used to not expecting much in the aesthetic department with these variants, the Viper being the worst - although the Imperial Eagle is kind of nice actually. I'm more interested in how the ship flies, even though cockpit visibility doesn't look at all improved. Unfortunately, I'm expecting that for all the fun of a fifth hardpoint, they'll gimp it in so many other ways that I'll probably go back to the normal Cobra III like always.
