Since when has this developer left you thinking they would do right by the player rather than trickle feed already existing content months apart for ten quid a pop like everything else? I stopped playing almost a year ago because of the unconscionable conduct of the developers, I check up every now and then and I am astounded that there has been THREE ships added in all this time and barely any customization for any.

So in brief; You will be charged for the same skins resold to you but they won't be available for months, don't be silly.

If you have not played for over a year why are you bothering to read the forums and post comments when all you are doing is complaining? Also paint jobs are not all 10 quid a pop which you would know if you looked at the store.

Also more than 3 ships have been added since a year ago. A year ago was when the game was only just released.

I think you will find 14 ships have been added since then.

Blatantly lying about the pricing of skins destroys all your credibility.
Everybody can go to the store and see for themselves that only a few select paint jobs cost that amount of money.
I do believe they are too expensive and I would never buy them, but that's not the point.

The fact that not all ships have skins yet, or not enough, is hardly the most important problem.
Making a big fuss about that is laughable.

Variants can not use the same skins because they have modified models.
The skin for a Cobra Mark III would simply not fit a Mark IV.
So no, you will not "be charged for the same skin resold to you".

Don't really like the modified look, but it's hard to say from one angle in one photo. Perhaps it'll 'come together' more from other angles. However, I've slowly become used to not expecting much in the aesthetic department with these variants, the Viper being the worst - although the Imperial Eagle is kind of nice actually. I'm more interested in how the ship flies, even though cockpit visibility doesn't look at all improved. Unfortunately, I'm expecting that for all the fun of a fifth hardpoint, they'll gimp it in so many other ways that I'll probably go back to the normal Cobra III like always.

Yeah, their ships look pretty nice.
