I would really die laughing if the ship would appear on LHS 3447! 200 ly away from my system :D
I would have to purchase a ship, upgrade it and take at as a taxi....
Make the whole way and leave it! In LHS just for swapping the Cobra ...

They should solve that!
Its a big ass problem for every single one of us..

Not sure this design grabs my attention I'm afraid. Just doesn't 'feel' right although I can't put my finger on what I'd change. I think I had something in mind more akin to the old Constrictor design as the Mk IV - maybe a cross between the Constrictor and the Mk III. Proof will be in the pudding once we get our hands on it though......

I'm reserving final judgement until there are more pictures in better lighting from more angles. Currently I don't like it, but it is unfair as the lighting makes it hard to see what its profile actually is.

Maybe some for of technical 'blueprint' would be nice to have so that it can be seen from all angles? A bit like the Cobra tee-shirt in the store :D

A new model Cobra? How are you people getting excited over a Cobra? I mean if I was playing for the first time a Cobra or new model Cobra would be great but after the first 3 days of playing I have already moved on to bigger and better things and no reason to go back to a cobra no matter what you add to it except maybe as a shuttle between starports to pick up my other ships!

Whoow! Don't get me started! 3 words is all that is required. Cobra IS king. They probably mucked it up with this one, but at this time, 3 words is all that matters.

edit...... 'Excited?' When I was a young-en; maybe a little. These days have to think about my heart.

Considering the vast difference in design between the Cobra Mk I (not in the game... yet?) and Cobra Mk III, I find it surprising that the Cobra Mk IV is so similar in looks to the Mk III...

I'm with you on the winglets, be better if the wings tapered off more as per the original. Don't mind the 'teeth' and maybe generally heavier look.
As for spec. ... I thought, maybe upgraded to deal with the likes of the vulture. maybe better shields, or more manoeuvrability. BUT don't want to lose the general purpose functionality.
I think it's like the new Mini by BMW over the original Mini by Austin in the 1960s. That is sort of the same shape, but not the same car.
... oh yes and when can I get one? :D

it's like the nostalgia for certain cars; I cite the Jaguar. Started as the Mark II in the 70's and seen in many British dramas especially 'The Sweeney'.
Now we still have 'Jags', and for the most part they are very good, and it can also be said that there are better cars available.
.... BUT owning one is about more than that!
