Pickpockets, vandals, and brats (to go with security, of course)

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the peeps in PC, and am shocked at how real their interactions are , I love how in the alpha version of this game, every little action seems random - if there is looping, it's not obvious at all that I've seen.

With that in mind, I know security is coming to the game, but it might be fun to have the occasional bad guy, vandal (I thought I saw one in a preview), and brat (and/or lost child too) to make sure you have enough security (or entertainment and rest stops for bored or tired children) in the park. Nod to the Sims, but can we have some cranky seniors too? And what about if you don't have enough janitors, customers can slip on too much trash if you don't have enough bins for discarded food (Sorry, I like a little bit of chaos).
[haha]

Great idea, hopefully the guests will steal stuff and vandalize things among other actions. It would give the security a great thing to do unlike in previous titles.

Good idea, this could be added into the economic model in the form of a security budget. The more you spend, the less profit (obviously) but the less crime which should help your reputation. Placement of TV cameras around could also be factored in with as control center and the amount of cams adding to the security operating costs.

in RCT1 vandals would break lights and benches, and players had to manually replace them. But IIRC, that did not happen in RCT3? Replacing broken items was kind of annoying IMO and, I think if lights can be broken then janitors or security should fix them instead of the player needing to replace them.

Vandals should pop balloons, steal, maybe even hurt entertainers? I also really liked the concept video showing graffiti, I wonder if that will actually happen in the game (I'll be kind of ticked off if they showed us that and then don't add it) [tongue] The whole security chasing a vandal around was so awesome and I will be so amazed if we actually see that happen in-game.

I want to know how this will effect other guests, will it cause guests to leave, will we see expressions of guests who are disrupted by vandals? crying/sad kids? etc.

I also want to know how we would prevent these things, is it based simply on the number of security throughout the park or is it just specific guests have that personality/attribute? Or is there more to it?

Also, What about line cutting/jumping?

Wow thanks for sharing that Gulpee video, I havent seen that one yet. Theirs no way that will really happen in the game! The video I saw of the Pirate entertainer was rather disappointing when they showed his different moods like happy or over-worked. But those artworks of the security guard give me new hope, especially the image of guests posing/interacting with Gulpee seems very cool, and I'm going to be a bit sad after seeing this if they don't have at least something to that effect.

Well.

All the figures are not extended yet. They all behave in a basic way. Guests and Entertainers alike.
Notice in the top right corner pre-viz in game asset at the gulpee rex video.
This is not 100% you are right, but they are seriously thinking about it.
