Pilot assist modules - Great for multitasking

Case in point I land as I type... that said don't get the de-throttle bit is it broke?

If my screen (Elite) is in focus when my throttle is set to full it does not work - however if my Screen is not in focus with throttle set to full it does?

Bind the X key to the "Set throttle to zero" keybind. press X to start up autodock once docking request is granted. The de-throttle message is that you need to set your throttle to 0% for the module to take over (no forward or backward thrust in real space, speed at 30km/s in supercruise). This is so that you can quickly disengage the autopilot function by any throttle input if you want to take back control.

How can anyone use the ADC? No joke, mine bumps into everything, especially in large ships.
I switched back to standard because it's not as bad as the ADC.

I've been using standard docking computers for my big ships before the advanced docking computer came out. I've noticed no difference in bumps etc. Never had a problem with the docking computer bumping me into things except for the occasional heavy landing (haven't had one since the ADC came out) which barely dent the shields. If you are finding that the docking computer is damaging your ship because it doesn't have shields then fit a shield generator.

The ADC is just new code to handle leaving the station. The docking part is exactly the same..... Unless you think they wrote brand new code (and reinvented the wheel) for docking with the ADC but left the original on the standard DC.

Although I don't like waiting over a minute in the queue to clear the station, it means I can check how dinner's going or read Galnet. If I want a fast exit, I'll just hit the throttle.
