Pilots and Squadrons of the galaxy - we need YOU - 2HOT2MESSY is ON.

Can I make a plea. As with the first hot mess, this is an astonishing opportunity to get a visual on every single station and its location. Can we encourage people to maybe record (screenshot and brief description) any particularly notable ones in some central location? (perhaps this forum thread?) The first hot mess threw up Cortes base, an astounding planetary port perched right on top of a Pomeche like ridge which became something of a mecca for the racing comunity. If there are other amazing locations out there it would be such a shame for them not to be celebrated and catalogued for possible future use.
Not closer than previous surface settlements but more!

Congratulations to our THIRD mug winner of the campaign - Commander Impala Mark's parcel will be wending its way shortly
The Hutton Orbital Postal Service has received confirmation that the Adder we hired to deliver the first one to Winny_1974 has completed its mission (we awarded influence and reputation for that one).

The second is still in transit.

To catch up with how things are going - this week's Hutton Orbital News is available on GalWeb

Right.
1500+ settlements in Colonia. Flossy is heading out there but will need backup. Anyone want to load up a carrier and head over to assist?

Think she has around half of the required mugs and gin, so likely someone would need 800+ to assist.

I'm in Colonia at the mo (been here since the end of January), can help with distribution. What is Flossy's carrier called and what is her destination system?

p.s. there might be space in Colonia itself.

Let's see it's something cryptic like...
...Flossy's Carrier!

I love that name! I donated a load of tritium on one of my arrivals in Alpha Centauri. Safe travels to Colonia with important, anti-MODS cargo, Flossy's Carrier! :)

Good news and bad news.
Good: I just bested my all-time run to Hutton by over 3 minutes, even though some clown-NPC tried (unsuccessfully, of course) to interdict me. Planets aligned favorably... \o/
Bad: Just 14x Mega Gin available at the moment. That's gruesome.

I always have goods to sell onboard, this trip was no exception. This time I also had a couple million cr-worth of bounties that I cashed-in. Hope that helps improve things.

Allow me to make a suggestion: It might be nice to offer a recognition for CMDRs who complete all the ports in systems with many targets.
I'm currently making deliveries and, using the Hutton Helper pages, I noticed the data for the Mombaluma System. Wow, that's a lot of targets, CMDR! 109!
A big o7!

Thanks. I made most of my early credits mining void opals and LTDs in that system, before they were nerfed a couple of years ago.

I've mainly been focussing on "virgin" systems like this. It might be an exceptional one, but it started off at just 35 targets. That has got me wondering just how far off some of the numbers are, and potentially how many ports are being missed. The biggest aid for me has been the new system summary feature, which should give the correct number of dockable ports if fleet carriers are filtered out, you're in a small ship, and there are no active conflict zones.

I have a feeling this exercise is going to take quite a bit longer than anticipated!

I actually have 1,901 Hutton Mugs and 1,497 Centauri Megagin on my Fleet Carrier, "Sapphire and Steel". :D

I did notice that the Hutton Helper page showed just 35 'starting targets' in Mombaluma. I figured that the HH page updated as you flew around in the system. I can only imagine the sinking feeling when watching the HH page go from 35 targets to over one hundred! o_O
Hmm, this is gonna take some time!

'new system summary feature?' Has this been staring me in the face and I never noted (or noticed) it? In-game? It's possible that I use it often, but don't know what it's called. 🤷‍♂️

Not entirely related:
When I first noticed the notation of 'starting targets' on the HH site, I wondered what it meant ...then pretty much paid little attention to it.

I don't know if it's in Horizons now, but in Odyssey it's the third icon from the bottom under Navigation. Dockable Ports is the number you want, and it's affected by filters, ship size and conflict zones. Yeah, it did feel a bit intimidating when I saw that in Mombaluma!

This screenshot is from doing Maia a few weeks back.

I've tried Gallardo Analytics Installation on Lacaille 8760 7 D a few times, and it's not registering. It's the 52nd and final target not on the list. Sales aren't showing up in the live messages either.

On another note, the target count was originally 42 when I got here, and it was a bit tricky working out which ports hadn't been visited, as they were dotted all around the place. Without knowing how it works or what data is available from which sources, I'm not sure what can be done to make it easier. At the moment, I'm going through each body in order and comparing it with the existing list.
