Pilots and Squadrons of the galaxy - we need YOU - 2HOT2MESSY is ON.

Hard to say precisely, and I should add that it doesn't necessarily have to be race related. But a classic example would be Cortes Base in Ross 1047.

Perched as it was on a ridge like that, it provided a spectacular location for racing around a ringed city but also meant we could stage Pomeche ridge like SRV races to and from the city. Another great example would be two (or more) planetary bases less than a few hundred km apart (that we could race between). There were plenty of these in Horizons but it's not clear whether there are many in Odyssey at all which seems to have gone to great pains to spread them out around planets.
Thanks, I will keep a lookout.

While out delivering mugs and gin got fed up with getting mugged while mugging the Galaxy and decided to trade cargo space for firepower. The mugs are now being delivered in style in my Mamba.
Son has had a few interdiction attempts whilst flying Cecil's Gin Palace.

Luckily Cecil appears to have armed it quite well.

Can I make a plea. As with the first hot mess, this is an astonishing opportunity to get a visual on every single station and its location. Can we encourage people to maybe record (screenshot and brief description) any particularly notable ones in some central location? (perhaps this forum thread?) The first hot mess threw up Cortes base, an astounding planetary port perched right on top of a Pomeche like ridge which became something of a mecca for the racing comunity. If there are other amazing locations out there it would be such a shame for them not to be celebrated and catalogued for possible future use.
No sure if it is precipitous enough but some nice ridge just north of Amaechi Formulations, BD-07 4419 A 5 A. -8.837. -141.6753

May I ask how one can get and invitation to join the Hutton PG?
You don't NEED to be in it, but...
If you want to be, just apply in the usual fashion through the game interface.

You need to be running the Hutton Helper and agree that whilst in the Hutton PG there's no player on player action unless by mutual consent.

How far would be 'too far' apart? 327km?

Hey, did you guys just change the sort order of settlements on the site from distance to alphabetical?

Thanks, I was going to suggest that. It's how they're sorted in the system map, so it's a lot more useful for checking them off.

Three pretty close together here. 286km and 602km.

Week 1 is DONE.
We will be awarding the first mug of this epic event tonight during the radio show.... 2030bst on http://twitch.tv/huttonorbitaltruckers

Rules are:
1. You have to have delivered 10 each of mugs and gin as logged in the Hutton Helper across the length of the event.

2. You don't have a Hutton Mug already. If you do, or you don't actually want one, we will redraw.

3. We will post your CMDR name up on various outlets. You will have 4 weeks to send us an email to send us postage details. After that we will assume you've been eaten by Thargoids and/or don't want one and we will reallocate it.

Just noticed the dockable ports count in Odyssey's new System Summary page.

Comparing this to the Hotmess targets number should make it a lot easier to find missing settlements now, assuming conflicts etc don't change it.
